When Jade entered the restaurant, she was immediately assisted by one of the ushers towards my table. She gave me a sad smile and I just forced myself to return the gesture. I know I look like a f*****g idiot forcing myself to smile but that was the only thing I could do para hindi na siya mag- alala.
I stood up from my seat and kissed her cheek when she got to me. She sat on the vacant chair across from me. I could see that she was assessing me and wala naman akong magagawa roon. She's always like this. Actually, we're always like that. We worry too much about each other. We're almost like real siblings after all.
"You don't look to good. Okay ka lang ba?" She asked worriedly.
