One Month Later
Arriving at the airport after her trip in Africa Ximena didn’t expect her aunt to be so dramatic, she had come with flowers in her hands and invited people to come and welcome her back home.
“Ximena! te extrañé mucho mi bebé. (I missed you so much, my baby)” she said as she hugged Ximena who smiled cheerfully at her
“I missed you too aunt, have you been well?” Ximena asked and her aunt was busy checking her body
“¡Oh mi pobre bebé! ¡Has perdido tanto peso! has estado comiendo bien? (meaning Oh my poor Baby! You have lost so much weight! have you been eating well?)” Aunt Lizzy said clapping her face in her arms
“Auntie! I was eating just fine okay? I decided to lose some weight! That’s all” Ximena assured her aunt who quickly let go of her, she kept on talking as Xime
