THE REJECTED WHITE WOLF

THE CHALLENGE

I could tell that Selena's wolf wanted to out, my wolf was wanting our as well and as well as Selena I was holding him in as best as I could. I didn't want to start something even though the whole pack had our backs since they were also protecting Mark, Lupe and the baby, they were protecting the future of the pack and they would even give their lifes for him. I wanted to ask what his name was but I didn't have the guts to ask Selena just yet, I would have to ask her when we were alone and she didn't see me as a threat to him because after what I did to her before I got my memories back I wouldn't trust myself either.

As Selena got closer to my parents, the people who raised her and never did anything for her started to get closer to my parents as well. I started to walk next to her, then Esteban started to walk on the other side of Selena. Slowly but surely Susy started to walk and ended up next to my mother with a big smile, I reached and grabbed Selena's hand an she had a big smile on her face that I was very sure she was up to something but I didn't know what. When we were in front of my parents, Esteban's parents and Susy I realized that Esteban, Gaby, George, Manuel were with me and Selena which meant that the pack were the ones protecting Mark, Lupe and the baby.

"I still can't believe that you both tried to kill Selena and my son" I said

"Well believe it, back then we didn't know she was a white wolf or the daughter of the Moon Goddess" my father said

"So your saying that if you knew I was a white wolf you would have accepted me as your sons mate" Selena asked

"Yes we would because once the other packs knew we had a white wolf in our pack we would be feared even more" my father said

"That would also mean that we would be getting attack more often to try an take the white wolf from us which also means that if they would have succeeded we wouldn't have a furture Luna and a future alpha for the pack" Esteban said

"That would have never have happened" my mother said

"And what makes you so sure about what you are saying" Gaby asked

"Because we wouldn't allow that to happen" my mother said

We kept going back and forth between my parents and us then Esteban's parents started to get in to the conversation which started to get more heated as time went on, out of no where Susy started to take steps closer to Selena which made me get in front of her in a protective pose but Selena came from behind me an stood in front of me and Susy.

"What do you want Susy" Selena asked

"I want to challenge you for the position as the future Luna of the pack" Susy said

"NO, I WONT ALLOW IT" I said

"Neither will I, you can only challenge her when she is already a Luna" my father said

"I accept the challenge and to make it fair I will be in human form and if you want you can be in wolf form" Selena said

"No Selena, she doesn't fight fair think about the baby" Gaby said

"Do you have anything else to say Susy" Selena asked ignoring what Gaby said

"We fight until one of us dies" Susy said

"What time do you want to meet at the fighting ring" Selena asked

"Two hours from now so you can spend time with your son and say your good byes" Susy said

"Alright see you in two hours" Selena said

As soon as she leaves, Selena starts to walk where Mark and Lupe have the baby and Lupe gives her our son. She turned and started to walk towards us. She started to look around for someone but then she just plastered a smile on her face and looked towards Esteban, he walked towards her and said something to her and she started to follow him inside in the middle of him, Gaby, George and Manuel. My parents and Esteban's parents moved out of the way to allow them to pass by, I followed them as I heard my father tell the pack to set everything up for the fight in two hours.

We were all walking up the stairs and I realized we were heading to my room, once we were in front of the door Esteban opened the door and we all walked in. Selena walked to the bed and started to lay down on the bed placing the baby in the middle of the bed next to her, she looked up as Gaby was walking in with the diaper bag placing it at the foot of the bed before everybody left leaving us alone in the room in complete silence neither one of us knowing what to do like we were nervous of what to say or saying something tha would anger or hurt the other.

S POV

I COULD TELL THAT SELENAS WOLF WANTED OUT BUT SHE WAS HOLDING HER BACK, MY WOLF WAS WANTING OUT AS WELL AND AS WELL AS SELENA I WAS HOLDING HIM IN AS BEST AS I COULD. I DIDNT WANT TO START ANYTHING EVEN THOUGH THE WHOLE PACK HAD OUR BACKS SINCE THEY WERE ALSO PROTECTING MARK LUPE AND THE BABY, THEY WERE PROTECTING THE FUTURE OF THE PACK AND THEY WOULD EVEN GIVE THEIR LIFES FOR HIM. I WANTED TO ASK WHAT HIS NAME WAS BUT I DIDNT HAVE THE GUTS TO ASK SELENA JUST YET, I WOULD HAVE TO ASK HER WHEN WE WERE ALONE AND SHE DIDNT SEE ME AS A THREAT TO HIM BECAUSE AFTER WHAT I DID TO HER BEFORE I GOT MY MEMORIES BACK I WOULDNT TRUST MYSELF EITHER.

AS SELENA GOT CLOSER TO MY PARENTS, THE PEOPLE WHO RAISED HER AND NEVER DID ANYTHING FOR HER STARTED TO GET CLOSER TO MY PARENTS AS WELL. I STARTED TO WALK NEXT TO HER, THEN ESTEBAN STARTED TO WALK ON THE OTHER SIDE OF SELENA. SLOWLY BUT SURELY SUSY STARTED TO WALK AND ENDED UP NEXT TO MY MOTHER WITH A BIG SMILE, I REACHED AND GRABED SELENAS HAND AND SHE HAD A BIG SMILE ON HER FACE THAT I WAS VERY SURE SHE WAS UP TO SOMETHING BUT I DIDNT KNOW WHAT. WHEN WE WERE INFRONT OF MY PARENTS, ESTEBANS PARENTS AND SUSY I REALIZED THAT ESTEBAN, GABY, GEORGE, MANUEL WERE WITH ME AND SELENA WHICH MEANT THAT THE PACK WERE THE ONCE WHO WERE THE ONLY ONES PROTECTING MARK, LUPE AND THE BABY.

"I STILL CANT BELIEVE THAT YOU BOTH TRYED TO KILL SELENA AND MY SON" I SAID

"WELL BELIEVE IT BACK THEN WE DIDNT KNOW SHE WAS A WHITE WOLF FORTHER MORE THE DAUGHTER OF THE MOON GODDESS" MY FATHER SAID

"SO YOUR SAYING THAT IF YOU KNEW THAT I WAS A WHITE WOLF YOU WOULD HAVE ACCEPTED ME AS YOUR SONS MATE" SELENA ASKED

"YES WE WOULD BECAUSE ONCE THE OTHER PACKS KNEW WE HAD A WHITE WOLF IN OUR PACK WE WOULD BE FEARED EVEN MORE" MY FATHER SAID

"THAT WOULD ALSO MEAN THAT WE WOULD BE GETTING ATTACKED MORE OFTEN TO TRY AND TAKE THE WHITE WOLF FROM US WHICH ALSO MEANS THAT IF THEY WOULD HAVE SUCCEEDED WE WOULDNT HAVE A FUTURE LUNA AND A FUTURE ALPHA FOR THE PACK" ESTEBAN SAID

"THAT WOULD HAVE NEVER HAVE HAPPEND" MY MOTHER SAID

"AND WHAT MAKES YOU SO SURE ABOUT WHAT YOU ARE SAYING" GABY ASKED

"BECAUSE WE WOULD ALLOW THAT TO HAPPEN" MY MOTHER SAID

WE KEPTED GOING BACK AND FOURTH BETWEEN MY PARENTS AND US THEN ESTEBANS PARENTS STARTED TO GET INTO THE CONVERSATION WHICH STARTED TO GET MORE HEATED AS TIME WENT ON, OUT OF NO WHERE SUSY STARTED TO TAKE STEPS CLOSER TO SELENA WHICH MADE ME GET INFRONT OF HER IN A PROTECTIVE POSE BUT SELENA CAME FROM BEHIND ME AND STOOD INFRONT OF ME AND SUSY.

"WHAT DO YOU WANT SUSY" SELENAS ASKED

"I WANT TO CHALLENGE YOU FOR THE POSITION AS THE FUTURE LUNA OF THE PACK" SUSY SAID

"NO I WONT ALLOW IT" I SAID

"NEITHER WILL I YOU CAN ONLY CHALLENGE HER WHEN SHE IS ALREADY A LUNA" MY FATHER SAID

"I ACCEPT THE CHALLENGE AND TO MAKE IT FAIR I WILL BE IN HUMAN FORM AND IF YOU WANT YOU CAN BE IN WOLF FORM" SELENA SAID

"NO SELENA SHE DOESNT FIGHT FAIR THINK ABOUT THE BABY" GABY SAID

"DO YOU HAVE ANYTHING ELSE TO SAY SUSY" SELENA ASKED IGNORING WHAT GABY SAID

"WE FIGHT UNTIL ONE OF US DIES" SUSY SAID

"WHAT TIIME DO YOU WANT TO MEET AT THE FIGHTING RING" SELENA SAID

"TWO HOURS FROM NOW SO YOU CAN SPEND TIME WITH YOUR SON AND SAY YOUR GOOD BYES TO YOUR LOVED ONES AND YOUR SON" SUSY SAID

"ALRIGHT SEE YOU IN TWO HOURS" SELENA SAID

AS SOON AS SHE LEAVES, SELENA STARTS TO WALK WHERE MARK AND LUPE HAVE THE BABY AND LUPE GIVES HER OUR SON. SHE TURNED AND STARTED TO WALK TOWARDS US. SHE STARTED TO LOOK AROUND FOR SOMEONE BUT THEN SHE JUST PLASTERED A SMILE ON HER FACE AND LOOKED TOWARD ESTEBAN, HE WALKED TOWARDS HER AND SAID SOMETHING TO HER AND SHE STARTED TO FOLLOW HIM INSIDE IN THE MIDDLE OF HIM, GABY, GEORGE AND MANUEL. MY PARENTS AND ESTEBANS PARENTS MOVED OUT OF THE WAY TO ALLOW THEM TO PASS BY, I FOLLOWED THEM AS I HEARD MY FATHER TELL THE PACK TO SET EVERYTHING UP FOR THE FIGHT IN TWO HOURS.

WE WERE ALL WALKING UP THE STAIRS AND I REALIZED WE WERE HEADING TO MY ROOM, ONCE WE WERE INFRONT OF THE DOOR ESTEBAN OPENED THE DOOR AND WE ALL WALKED IN. SELENA WALKED TO THE BED AND STARTED TO LAY DOWN ON THE BED PLACING THE BABY IN THE MIDDLE OF THE BED NEXT TO HER, SHE LOOKED UP AS GABY WAS WALKING TO THE BED WITH THE DIAPER BAG PLACING IT ON TOP AT THE FOOT OF THE BED BEFORE EVERYBODY LEFT LEAVING US ALONE IN THE ROOM IN COMPLETE SILENCE NEITHER ONE OF US KNOWING WHAT TO SAY OR WHAT TO DO LIKE WE WERE NERVOUS OF WHAT TO SAY OR OF NOT SAYING SOMETHING THAT WOULD ANGER OR HURT THE OTHER.
