In a faraway void, beyond the reaches of the mortal world, where the fabric of space and time unraveled like threads in the cosmic tapestry, an event of unparalleled significance was unfolding. It was a place untouched by the passage of time, where eons passed like mere moments, and where the echoes of creation and destruction reverberated through the vast expanse.
In this realm, bathed in the soft, ethereal glow of celestial energies, the Ancient God stirred. Its form was a shifting mass of ever-changing colors and shapes, an enigma that defied comprehension. It had slumbered here for countless millennia, an existence forgotten even by the most ancient deities.
As the Ancient God awakened, memories long dormant began to resurface. It recalled a time before the birth of galaxies, before the emergence of stars and planets, when the cosmos itself was in its infancy. It was a being born of primordial chaos, a force of nature that embodied the raw, untamed essence of creation and destruction.
In those ancient times, the Ancient God had roamed the void, shaping the cosmos with its colossal power. It had witnessed the birth and death of countless worlds, the rise and fall of civilizations, and the dance of cosmic forces that shaped the very fabric of reality.
But as the eons passed, the Ancient God had grown weary of its ceaseless existence. It had chosen to retreat into a deep slumber, relinquishing its dominion over the cosmos to the younger gods who arose in its wake. It had become a mere legend, a myth whispered among the gods, a relic of a bygone era.
Yet, now, something had roused it from its eternal rest. A disturbance in the cosmic energies, a tremor in the very heart of creation, had compelled the Ancient God to awaken. It sensed a threat, a presence that threatened to disrupt the delicate balance of the universe.
As the memories of its ancient past flooded back, the Ancient God began to understand the nature of this threat. It was Theo, a being whose power transcended the boundaries of time and space. Theo's ambitions, his insatiable hunger for power, and his mastery over the art of time manipulation had set him on a path of destruction that threatened to unravel the very fabric of reality.
The Ancient God knew that it could no longer remain a passive observer. Its awakening marked a turning point in the cosmic order, a resurgence of a power long forgotten. It had once shaped the universe, and now, it would do so again.
With a thought, the Ancient God reached out across the void, sending ripples through the cosmic energies. It began to gather its strength, to rekindle the fires of creation and destruction that lay dormant within it. It would need allies, champions who would stand by its side in the coming battle.
In distant corners of the cosmos, the Ancient God's call echoed through the minds of those attuned to its power. Beings of immense strength and wisdom, who had also slumbered for countless ages, began to awaken. They sensed the urgency of the situation, the impending cataclysm that threatened all of existence.
As these ancient beings stirred, they felt a resonance with the awakened Ancient God. They understood that they were bound by a common purpose, a shared destiny. Together, they would confront Theo and the forces of chaos he had unleashed upon the universe.
The stage was set for a cosmic confrontation of unprecedented scale, a battle that would span the aeons and shake the very foundations of reality. The Ancient God and its newfound allies prepared to embark on a journey that would determine the fate of the cosmos itself, a journey that would take them from the distant void to the mortal world, where their presence would be felt once more.
"And with that, if we do not finish this matter with Theo soon, the Ancient One would have to take matter into its own hand and reset the entirety of the Universe. Resetting all things into the beginning stage." Explains Althea at the end of her explanation.
Lavtura and Sharion was dumbfounded after hearing all of Althea's explanation. There's still so many question inside their head that needed answers. However, they're also laser focus on the Theo's matter...
Althea read the two expression and understood their question immediately. "When the Ancient One reset the universe, that also reset the gods. Everything, from their memory to their personality. There's a high chance that I might not be Althea and Lavi might not be Lavi, along with you not being you. That means, Fate was reset as well..."
"You said that Theo is disrupting that fabric of time... Does he intent to use his Time Manipulation to ignore that universe reset?" Lavtura analyzed Theo's intention. To which, Althea confirmed by nodding.
"Amongst the gods, I'm the only one who had a direct connection with the Ancient one, as he were about to go to slumber, he created me and Lavi. However, since Lavi just regained his power, he isn't able to feel that connection with the Ancient One. Anyway, because of this connection, I know that the Ancient One needed us to slay Theo before it's too late..."
"If Theo were to managed and dodge the universe reset, what happened then?" Sharion asked the age old question.
Althea smiled cheekily and stated "The Ancient One will erase his existence... Along with all of ours of course... Since the Ancient One see no need in us who can't even handle Theo." Although it sounds very dangerous, Althea also understand that, failures cannot be tolerated.
Lavtura and Sharion understood the nasty situation they're in... It's now a matter of them taking Theo seriously before it was too late...
Fortunately, Lavi and Rex had already make their move based on the guidance that Althea has given them. Because of that, they should be able to make it in time before the great universe reset and faced the Ancient One to talk the terms so that they won't be erased from existence. The key to quenching the anger that the Ancient One has is definitely, the Pair of Gods that it created when its about to rest... Althea and Lavi...
