1047 Words
The chamber within the temple was bathed in the soft, golden light of the Temporal Nexus, and Lavtura, the Goddess of Love, stood before the enigmatic guardian. Her eyes, filled with determination, locked onto the radiant, ethereal figure before her. With a voice filled with passion, she spoke, "Guardian, I implore you to allow me access to the Temporal Nexus. I seek to use its power to defeat Theo, the God of Time, and to prevent the Ancient One from gaining control over time itself. These are crucial reasons that demand the Temporal Nexus's power." The guardian regarded Lavtura with an almost melancholic grace. Its voice resonated not in words, but in the emotions it projected directly into Lavtura's heart. It conveyed, "Your reasons, while noble, are not sufficient to warrant access to the Temporal Nexus. Its power is not to be trifled with, and the balance of love and time is delicate." Lavtura's eyes widened, and she took a step back in disbelief. "What more do you require of me? My purpose is to protect the universe, to safeguard the love that transcends time. How can my intent not be pure enough?" The guardian's response was unexpected and sent a shiver down Lavtura's spine. In a voice that was both gentle and firm, it projected a vivid and perplexing vision into Lavtura's mind. She saw herself wielding the power of the Temporal Nexus, not to save the universe, but to rewrite history for personal gain, altering time to indulge in a world where love was manipulated and twisted to her own desires. Lavtura recoiled from the vision, her heart heavy with the weight of what she had seen. "I would never misuse the power in such a way! You misunderstand my intentions!" But the guardian remained resolute, an inscrutable figure of both love and time. Its response was unwavering as it projected another vision, this time of Sharion and Lavtura locked in a bitter conflict. In this alternate reality, the Goddess of Swords had drawn her blade against Lavtura, believing that it was the only way to access the Temporal Nexus and stop the Ancient One. Lavtura's eyes widened, and she turned to the guardian in shock. "Is this what you believe will happen? That Sharion will turn against me?" The guardian's response was a wordless affirmation, and it was clear that the vision had shaken Lavtura to her core. Sharion, who had been watching this exchange with growing impatience, could no longer contain her frustration. Her hand tightened around the hilt of her sword, and in a swift, fluid motion, she drew the blade. "Guardian, if you won't grant Lavtura access to the Temporal Nexus for the sake of the universe, then I will take it by force!" With a determined cry, Sharion lunged at the guardian, her sword poised to strike. The chamber filled with the clashing of steel against ethereal light as she engaged in a fierce battle with the guardian. Lavtura, torn between her plea for the guardian's mercy and her loyalty to Sharion, watched in agony as the conflict unfolded before her. The guardian had posed a reason so out of pocket that it had driven Sharion to take drastic measures, convinced that defeating the guardian was the only way to gain access to the Temporal Nexus. But as the battle raged on, Lavtura remembered the vow she and Sharion had made as wives of Lavi. They had sworn to never betray each other, no matter the reasoning. It was a bond stronger than mere comradeship, and it reminded her that they were more than just allies—they were a family. Lavtura knew that the guardian's projections were meant to test their resolve and the purity of their intentions. She couldn't let the vision tear them apart. With newfound determination, she cried out, "Stop, Sharion! We are bound by a love that transcends time, and we must not let anything come between us, not even the Temporal Nexus." Sharion halted her assault, her sword still poised for battle, but the fire in her eyes began to waver. Lavtura's words had reached her heart, reminding her of their unwavering commitment to each other. She went back and stated "Sorry for my hot head, Lavtura. You saved me there." She said as sweat trickling down her forehead. The moment she attacked the Guardian, she was shown a vision of a momentous feat of failure of the future. Where everything was thrown into chaos by Theo and that leads to the death of none other than Lavi himself. With the death of Lavi, everyone saw no hope of defeating Theo and his backing. Which leads to the Ancient One and his legion to step in himself and kill Theo and reset the Universe. Which leads to everything, other than the Ancient One and similar... Ceasing to exist and rebirthing a brand new beings, with completely different everything. After stopping and realizing her mistake, Sharion reclaim her calm and put away her swords, completely taking a peace stance against the Guardian. Before muttering "I believe you can do it, Lavtura." The guardian, witnessing this unwavering bond, responded with a subtle approval, and its enigmatic demeanor softened. It projected a final vision, one that depicted Lavtura and Sharion working together, united by love and determined to use the Temporal Nexus to protect the universe. With this vision, the guardian seemed satisfied that their intentions were pure, and it stepped aside, allowing them access to the Temporal Nexus. Lavtura and Sharion shared a meaningful glance, reaffirming their bond and their shared purpose. The guardian's final message, carried by a surge of emotions, was clear: Love, united with a noble purpose, had the power to safeguard the delicate balance of the Temporal Nexus, ensuring the universe's harmony remained intact. After the Guardian gave Lavtura access to the Temporal Nexus, wave of information regarding the Nexus appear in her head, giving her the proper information, everything she needed to do her pure deed. While that's happening, all of the other common gods can't really do anything nor say anything... They just stood there, helplessly knowing full well that they don't have strong enough bond to them both to do anything and not gain the aggression of the Guardian...
