The cosmic battlefield was a maelstrom of chaotic energies and ethereal clashes, where the very fabric of reality quivered in the face of unparalleled power. Theo, the God of Time, stood alone, confronting the relentless onslaught of the Ancient One's cosmic army. Their numbers were staggering, an unending tide of beings whose power rivaled that of combatant gods.
Theo was clad in his timeless attire, his form radiating with an aura of temporal energy. His determination burned like a blazing star, and his eyes gleamed with a resolve to protect the universe at any cost. But the odds were overwhelmingly against him, for the Ancient One's army numbered in the millions, and each soldier was a formidable force in their own right.
The sky crackled with energy weaponry as the army of the Ancient One unleashed a relentless barrage upon Theo. Beams of searing energy lanced through the void, their lethal trajectories converging upon the God of Time. But there was a peculiar aspect to their attacks—their energy beams did not collide with one another. They passed through one another without interference, as if some cosmic law dictated that they could only target Theo.
Theo's form shimmered with temporal fluctuations as he deftly evaded the onslaught, each movement a dance through the chaotic storm of energy beams. His control over time allowed him to perceive the attacks with uncanny precision, and he moved with an elegance that defied the chaos around him.
Despite his agility and power, the relentless assault took its toll on Theo. His once-imposing figure began to show signs of strain, and his form bore scars of energy impacts. The intensity of the battle was pushing him to his limits, but he knew that he had to persevere.
Theo's voice resounded through the battlefield, a resonant call that defied the overwhelming odds. "I will not yield to the forces of chaos! The universe's balance hangs in the balance, and I will fight to protect it!"
The Ancient One's cosmic soldiers pressed their attack, their eyes gleaming with a sinister determination. The battle raged on, and it was a testament to Theo's unwavering resolve that he continued to fight against insurmountable odds.
Bombardments toward Theo continues to happen. But this time, the close quarter personnel joined in the fray. The very first line is swordsman with a spearsman right behind them. There's really no way for Theo to continue dodging and fighting the way he's fighting right now...
'Ever since the start of the battle, I've been only using my Time energy in order to use all of my weapon step by step. I cannot reveal all of my card straight away knowing that their power and intelligent is that of a god. I'm not going to be able to consistently back them if I show everything. I need to play my power one by one!'
Theo realized that adaptability is the Army strong point. Hence, he used his base Time Manipulation to force the time around him to fluctuate to the point that none of the attack connected. But now, the army forced a close quarter combat followed with projectiles...
"Alright then, I'll play your game. Let's see if you can keep up to my dance of death!" Theo started moving accordingly toward the opponent in front of him. He ignore everything surrounding him, he only focused on what he can see. Not what he can...
He takes a stance familiar to him. The Stance that Gux used to take... Although Gux isn't the best Qyblith he created, he has the potential to become the strongest that he created if it's not for Lavi...
And so, using the perfect Timing that he forced to happen using his Time Manipulation, he strikes... The fluctuation of time makes it so that the projectiles came in faster than it should. While Theo step over that time where the projectiles hit him. In results, the attack phase through him and he had made his way forward toward the front row personnel.
Theo knows that it was a bad decision to step forward like that. Because the moment he do, the swordsman and the spearsman, already figured out the timing of his Fluctuation and they all attack at a perfect timing. They didn't attack at the exact same time. They precisely timed their attack to delay 0.1 seconds. Each one of them. Making it impossible for Theo to run away...
So, Theo did the only thing he can do...
"Full Time Stop!"
Theo activate his absolute authority over time and freeze everything... He then quickly punch forward... But, before his punch can connect to anything... The army started moving again.
Theo was stabbed by multiple swords and spears, but he didn't stop his fist... He forced his fist and then the space around him started to distort...
"There... Beware of the Cosmic Confusion!"
Theo hits the essence of time itself. Creating a massive fluctuation that makes even Titan and Ancient One to respectively comment "Oho!!! That was a very daring move!" "Crazy guy... But still, that's not enough to stop a million of my army."
That attack only erase about a thousand of the Ancient One army. That Massive Fluctuation affects a certain area that Theo hit. Theo himself, forced that area to move to the point in time where all of those unfortunate being, didn't exist...
But as the Ancient One said, it's not enough. That attack only erase those in front of him. Not around him... Tons of the Ancient One soldier had struck Theo's back and that leaves him heavily wounded...
Theo jumped forward and blood is leaking through his back... He then turned around to saw those same personnel are jumping toward him...
"RAAAGH!!!" Theo was left with no choice. He let out a massive amount of Magical Energy and that slowed their movement to the point that they felt like slugs...
"I can't stop your movement. But, I can slow you down!"
Theo screamed to the top of his lungs and started ripping everything to shred, like how Gux used to do it.
As the battle unfolded, Theo's vision shimmered with temporal insights. He saw a glimmer of hope on the distant horizon—a cosmic rift that held the promise of reinforcements. It was the arrival of his own army, a force that would tip the scales of this cosmic conflict.
Theo's heart surged with renewed determination as he bought time for his allies to arrive. The Ancient One's army may have been formidable, but Theo's commitment to his plan is unwavering.
The cosmic battlefield continued to crackle with energy beams, and Theo's form weaved through the onslaught. With each passing moment, he grew closer to the arrival of his allies, and the battle for the fate of the universe would soon reach its climactic conclusion.
