Chapter 70: Sword Heart.

The fight between Lavi and Elder Sword has begun. The first step was made by the Elder Sword, due to his inability to hold back after seeing his lord and also his comrades getting stomped on by Lavi.
Lavi also didn't waste any time chasing after the Elder Sword movement. He doesn't want to be on the defensive side. He go against offense with even stronger offense.
"Die!" Elder Sword muttered as he let out one of the strongest s***h he had ever put out. But, Lavi isn't one to shy away from such exchange...
'A single strike that bets it all. You are a dumb coot you dumb lint!' Lavi was a tad shocked because that move that was unleashed upon him is quite an idiotic move due to who is the Elder Sword is going against.
Betting one move against Lavi is not going to suffice, because many has tried including his comrades, yet none succeeded.
So, Lavi with his Icy, swing his sword casually. To which, the Elder Sword responded by twisting his body and then lowered his body down... Lavi was amazed by that move because he fully expect the s***h is coming down from the sky. But, no. The attack now came from the side...
"You cannot read me! I am reading your movement and then moving according to your movement!" The Elder Sword revealed as his sword came closer to Lavi's body...
But, Lavi just smirked and then quickly leap up toward the air and then twist his body in a way that put his body upside down. Then, using the handle of his Icy, he hit the sword of the Elder and then push that sword away...
"What?! That doesn't make sense!" He was shook to his very core. He didn't expect Lavi would be able to dodge his attack. But Lavi not only dodge it, he countered a little bit that resulted in the Elder staggering back.
"There's nothing impossible for me, Elder Sword..."
Lavi decided to jumped back and gain a little bit more distance. As his goal right now is to have fun and also let Sharion knew the power level of the Sword Elder.
"... Well, you leave me no other choice. I didn't want to use this because I have no lord to serve. But in order to get my revenge on the lord! I will use it!" Lavi didn't know what the hell the Elder Sword were saying. But, Lavi prepared himself for any possibility.
Then, an absurd amount of pressure was released from the Elder Sword body... Lavi didn't know what's going on, but it's clear from his face that this is not something that he expect at all...
The pressure coming out from the Elder Sword is similar to the rushing waterfall of Bloodlust that Lavi used to let out.
"HAHAHA! Now despair! This is my strongest technique! The pinnacle of sword! The Sword Heart!!!" The Elder Sword revealed something that Lavi didn't know of. The Sword Heart...
However, Lavi didn't seem to be nervous at all... Instead, he started to think about Sharion. 'I wonder if Sharion understand the concept of the Sword Heart... If she didn't, then this is her next stop. Since Elder Sword said that it was the Pinnacle of Sword.'
Seeing Lavi's attention is in something else, the Elder Sword called him out "You are in the face of death! How dare you not see what's going to kill you?!"
Lavi then focused on what's actually in front of him. On top of the Elder Sword, there's a massive eye staring at him, the eye was golden and it felt menacing. Every single second Lavi looked at that eye, he felt his soul is getting shred by thousands upon thousands of sharp swords...
The more he stare, the more his soul is wounded, Lavi didn't realize that at first, before his eyes, his nose, his ears, started to leak out blood...
"What?" Lavi now realized that looking at the Sword Heart means shredding his soul. But, he cannot stop looking at it. It was like he was put in a trance and cannot look away from that golden eye of destruction.
'It hurts?! What the hell is going on?! It hurt yet I cannot stop looking at it! Is this what people mean by, beautiful things eats you before you notices it? Even if you notices it, you cannot stop yourself from admiring it, until finally you end your life!' Lavi forced himself to look away, but his neck forced himself to continue looking at it...
"Now, that you're trapped within my Sword Heart, it's time for me to strike you using it." Elder Sword raise his hand and then, a massive golden sword that covers the sky, appear from the Sword Heart.
"Now! DIE!!" The Elder Sword, slam his hand down and then the Golden Sword falls down toward Lavi, ready to end him. Lavi knows it too, if that sword hits him, his soul would be rip to thousand shreds and unable to regenerate itself back to its former self. Truly killing him...
So, Lavi steeled his resolve and remembered... "For my wives. For my families. For those who loved this universe. For those who despise the universe. For those who wants redemption... I shall not fall down to someone like you!"
"Too late now! You cannot let yourself go of my Sword Heart. So long! You are one pain in the ass to deal with!" The Elder Sword turn his body around and that was when he heard of something.
Splat!
"UGH!!!" Lavi screamed. The Elder Sword thought that Lavi was hit by his sword. So he didn't pay it no mind... He continued to ignore that.
But what Lavi really did is he stab his eyes using his own fingers and forced himself out of the hypnotic trance that was eating away at his soul...
"Your mistake. The fact that you didn't make sure that your opponent didn't die and instead, arrogantly walk off like that... That's why you lost!"
The Elder Sword was shook beyond belief. He thought that nothing could ever shock him anymore after meeting this anomaly. But he proved him wrong. There are still things that he can do to shock him...
Lavi had blinded himself and now, using nothing but his instinct... He located the location of the golden sword and figured out the distance from the feel that was given to him by the universe.
Then, he slap his hand together and the entire universe shook when he did that. He fully transformed himself to his most powerful form...
