Chapter 67: Those who dares, win!

The strikes came within the shadows. No one would think that such decisive strike would go unnotice. Everyone there understand the circumstances that the Ancient One is in. He is standing in his last leg. Having lost his limb and his trusty greatsword, he can only rely on his Offensive Creation. But that takes a toll. A heavy price must be paid for someone like him to use that power offensively.
The reason why the Ancient One created Althea, the Goddess of Beginning is to ease his power usage. Although it was used to create life, he doesn't control the life he created perfectly. With Althea, he intend to use her to be sort of stand in. But, as expected, not all life he created is perfect, some of them has evil intent... That's why, he created Lavi the God of the End. He is tasked to eliminate anything from existence when they stray too far...
As the Ancient One cannot destroy anything with his Creation power. Lavi fully take over that task and hence why, the Ancient One doesn't really have anything to worry about. He put his absolute trust to Lavi but Lavi used it for his own advantage...
God of the End, can manipulate his aura to be perfectly undetected, the Ancient One called that the End particles. No one can detect the End Particle, hence that's why no one can detect Lavi.
That's why, it came as a surprise to everyone in there, that Lavi can sneak in and take out the Ancient One with one strike...
"You.... Are my trusted executioner...." Muttered the Ancient One toward Lavi as he started to fall down. It was then, the rest of the Elders started to go toward him...
Lavi replied simply. "Indeed. I am everyone executioner." Before everyone reached the Ancient One fallen body...
The first one to move to attack Lavi is the Divine Assassin. He quickly appear right behind Lavi silently. His ability is the ability to teleport undetected. No sign whatsoever...
Lavi should be taken off guard because no one could see it coming. Because the Divine Assassin left his presence with the other Elders... Yet, Lavi only snap his finger and the Divine Assassin crumble down behind him.
"Your name really does suits you, Divine Assassin. However. A mere assassin try to assassinate an executioner of the Ancient Beings? You are naive. Now that I have received the Power of Creation, Killing you guys is nothing more than a play pretend!" Lavi step on the Divine Assassin's head and grind it down to the ground.
Everyone was shook... But, the Ancient One is still letting out some last words...
"Listen well... My elders. My essence of creation... It has its own limiter set by me. No matter who has that power, it will limit itself so that it cannot destroy the universe..."
"Lord!!!" Everyone was sad, but below Lavi's foot, is an even sadder guy, who cannot be there in his Lord last moment. Instead, groveling underneath the killer's foot.
"Hahaha! Look at you. Such great title but cannot even look at his lord last moment. If I were your lord, I would be so ashamed to have someone like you!" Lavi rub salt on his wound. Which prompted the Divine Assassin to screams his lungs out "AAAGHH!!! YOU FUCKERR!!!!"
He pushed himself up and then his eyes revealed the most amount of Anger that Lavi has ever felt. Even more than the anger Theo let out knowing his plan was ruined due to Lavi killing the Ancient One for himself.
"I WILL... KILL YOU!" The Divine Assassin strength multiplied to the realm that no other Elder had reached before. Meaning, he's standing toe to toe with Lavi right now...
He quickly teleported behind Lavi once again. Lavi didn't do much though. He just reacted normally and turn around. To which, he saw nothing. Turns out, the Divine Assassin's Dagger came from the front. He faked Lavi out by leaving his killing intent behind him and attempting to teleport before switching his destination towards Lavi's chest.
'Hmm... Interesting. He managed to get to such a high level from desperation... He's worth being my opponent later on. However, now is not the time. If we were to eat each other out till no one is left... Then it's going to be in the all out war for the Universe...' Lavi had decided on his next action.
Clap!
A simple hand clap, freezes the area around Lavi, Which also includes the Divine Assassin's Teleportation ability...
"What?! Even... If I grew stronger, I am no match for you?!"
"Chill out. Now is not the time to fight." Lavi then push the Divine Assassin lightly. But the power behind those push are enough to put a hole through the mountain behind him.
Lavi stared at those in front of him, including Theo. Which put shivers down his spine.
'This fucker... He's more terrifying than before... Who would've think that he would take the Ancient One, Power of Creation for himself? Not to mention, his head is f*****g twisted. If I'm not careful, I might died the moment he touch me.' Theo remembered that fight he had with Lavi. It was a quick fight that ended with Lavi as the winner. From that short exchange alone reveals that Lavi is not an easy opponent to take down.
Then Theo looked at the Elders and stated... "Elders! Listen to me! At first, your common enemy is me. But now, we have the same enemy! Which means, before we can settle on our own matter, we need to kill that guy that kill your Lord!"
The Elders looked at him with spite. Especially the Great Sage. "You are spouting nonsense! Our Lord ordered us to kill you! You too, have the same intention as that man! What makes you think we can work with you?!"
"You can't see the whole truth even when it's presented in front of you? You guys have no brain behind those head! Even if I was the same as that fucker. In the end, I am not him! He is the one who killed your Lord! He was trusted by your Lord! But he stabbed him in the back! How can you not see that fact behind you?!" Theo has started to play with their feeling. Now, they don't know what's wrong and what's right...
Lavi understand the situation and then smiled menacingly.
"He's right. Also, do your really think that you would have a chance against me? Right now? In your dreams! You guys are only strong because you don't fear death. You wanted to die for those you serve. But now that you have no one to serve. You think that strength of yours will be the same?"
Hearing that, got everyone riled up. Elder Fist immediately jumped toward Lavi and then screamed "WHAT DO YOU KNOW ABOUT US BRAT!!!"
But Lavi didn't do nothing. He let Elder Fist hit him on his chest, to everyone surprise. Not a single damage was done to Lavi. Heck, Lavi's feet doesn't even move a single bit.
Elder Fist got the feeling that he was punching a space wall created by the Ancient One itself. It was immovable and unbreakable...
'Did he... Create the wall?!' Elder Fist thought that Lavi had used the Essence of Creation. While in fact, he didn't.
"I do not rely on anything. You're just hitting my pure body. A body tempered with the Essence of the End and all the elements that created the universe." Lavi quickly punch the Elder Fist using his Flamy and a burst of flame rises from his body... But it didn't kill him.
No matter how strong the attack are, they are not going to die that easily. Lavi knew that fact hence that's why he let out that strong attack.
"Now, who wants some beef with me?" Lavi openly challenges them all to a fight, to which, they all scream "YOU ARE DEAD MEAT!!"
