Chapter 8: Greener on the other Side.

"So Lavi... I've decided. Can we move into your Countries? I feel like there's no use that I'm here you know? I would rather go to Shireno and learn things there."

Rin said. Iris and Luna nodded. Lavi look at Stephanie if she's willing to move to Shireno and Join Rin there.

"Well, I can work at Shireno too you know? As the Representation from Marlow. How is that? I can work in the Castle, Rin can stay in Shireno. It's win and win situation for both me and Rin."

Right now, Rin is in Shireno Castle. Of course. This is a Visit from Marlow Kingdom. So, Both Steven and Annie is there joining them.

"Hm... How is that Steven? You approve of that plan? I don't mind you know?"

Lavi said. Steven nodded.

"Sure. We can sign an alliance as well. After all. Our Kingdom is the only Kingdom that are covered with Snow all year Long."

Steven said. Lavi smiled at him. He slid an Alliance Form. He doesn't really need to consult to other Kingdom because, Everyone already signed the Form. It just need the confirmation from Both Lavi and Steven.

"Make sure to read that nicely."

Lavi said. Steven read it. And it took a couple read before he understand what was written. It was something that Lavi personally wrote.

"Your Majesty... You really going to help other Kingdom with Monster Outbreak?"

"Of course. And also, There's few notes that said, If Shireno was attacked, I will protect Shireno and put my own Kingdom as top priorities. But other than that, I will definitely help with monster situation. After all, I'm up for killing monster."

Lavi said. There's a lot of notes that said, Only Ask Lavi when the Monster is Disaster Level. If you can manage it, Don't think of calling Lavi.

Since he will definitely cause an unnecessary disaster as well. Steven obviously, Sign it gladly. There's no more Bloodsucking Demon because of 10 Harbingers personal interference.

But anyway, Now that Steven sign it. Lavi shake hands with him and said.

"Welcome to the Alliance. Remember, Even though I'm up of helping you lot. I'm still a King of my own country. I prioritize my Own Country. Anyway, Have fun."

Lavi said. They go out and were guided by Anthony and Joshua. They look around the City to familiarize. They were shocked by how big Anthony and Joshua. They introduce themselves as the Slave that Lavi save. And personally picked to be in his knight order.

'They look like an MMA Fighter...'

Rin thought. It seems like Iris and Luna have the same thought process. Anthony and Joshua do look like an MMA Fighter. But if they're in the MMA, They would crush people just from slamming them to the ground.

Since both Anthony and Joshua have the capability to destroy Lavi bone into shatters. And no one other than Lavi can hold that pain. So, If people get hit, They will die for sure.

Even Rin doesn't know if he can defeat them. So, He just respect them like how Lavi respect all of his corps. While they were going around, They see Lavi is going out with Sasha and Pasha.

They look like a Father taking out his children to play. Rin look at Anthony.

"So.. Who are they both?"

"Ah. Sasha and Pasha is our Assassins. His Majesty save them before his Wedding. They're known as the Pedophile Hunter since they kill Pedophile. Right now, They're 9 Years old. Sasha and Pasha look up at his Majesty as a Father Figure. While His Majesty think of them as Little Sister."

Anthony said. Rin asked him.

 "Why is that?"

Joshua answered.

"Because, His Majesty is going to have his own Child in about 3 Months. And his Wives doesn't want him to think of Sasha and Pasha as his real Daughters."

Rin, Iris, Luna nodded. Rin was still amazed by Lavi. He is going to have Children soon while Rin is still playing around. If he want to catch Lavi up, He need to man up and get engaged very soon.

Rin can see the awaiting look of Iris and Luna. He felt bad because, He doesn't have any money. So, He was determined to get some money really fast. He felt like a Jerk not giving them Engagement Ring after so long...

But well, that's how he roll. He's a Student still so, He's not allowed to work. And now that he's not a student anymore, He can do anything he want.

Anyway, Rin and the other was now following wherever Lavi goes to see any good stuff. After arriving at the Adventurers Guild. Sasha and Pasha go to Veronika and join her on her journey.

'Adventurers Guild? I'm interested...' That's what Rin face is saying. So naturally, They call Lavi and join him for a bit.

"Rin and the others. Why are you guys here? I thought you are going to explore the Inner wall more."

"Well, We saw you with Sasha and Pasha. And you reach the Adventurers Guild. I feel like I want to join the Guild."

Rin said. Lavi look at him and said.

"You know how Guild Work?"

"Well, Kind of. I have some annoying people telling me about other world story. I bet he must be pissed when knowing me going to other world."

Rin said calmly. Iris and Luna seems to recognize the man because they muttered 'Ah, That prick. He's so annoying.'

Lavi felt bad about the guy because, He just get s**t on by Rin and his Lovers.

 Lavi sighed and look at the Receptionist.

"Can I get 3 blank Guild Card?"

Lavi asked. The receptionist nodded. She gave Lavi 3 card and ask Rin, Iris and Luna to write their name.

"Sorry Lavi... We don't know how to read this world language..."

 Lavi sighed once again. He ask everyone essential information and write it for them. Lavi explain it to them what each boxes means. And everyone nodded. After checking all of their information is correct. Lavi process the card and give it to them. Lavi pay for the Registration fees.

"Anthony, Joshua. Take Steve and Annie somewhere nice. I'm going to go out with these 4 for a bit."

Lavi said. Anthony and Joshua nodded. They become the Marlow Royal Family Guards. Lavi look at them 4.

"You guys want to join me killing something strong?"

Lavi asked. Rin nodded. The Girls shake their heads because, If Lavi is  the one taking care of it, It must been super strong. But Rin wanted to see Lavi power more. So, The Girls obliged. Lavi sighed because he realize their worries.

"Here. Use this Necklace and Bracelet. It cover your body with Barrier and you should be fine with high ranking monster charging at you."

Lavi said. They smiled awkwardly and he ask for the quest.

"So, What's the Quest again?"

Lavi asked. A Bald buffed and wound covered old man appear.

"It's Behemoth Your Majesty. We don't know why but, Behemoth keep appearing out of nowhere."

Comet said. Lavi nodded in aggrement.

"True. Behemoth never multiply this quickly. So, For the world to have too many behemoths, There must been something wrong with the Vantage Core."

Lavi said. No one knows what It means except Lavi. Lavi know a lot of things from his Book of Knowledge and Divine Eyes. He can see things that no normal human can.

But he keep that a secret from normal human because, He doesn't want to be called a Weirdo or all knowing Lavi.

"Anyway, What's the Type again?"

"Crocodilli."

"You mean Crocodile? Don't say it to be so cute like that."

Lavi said. Comet try to become cute by saying Crocodilli. But the man is buffed and covered with scars. It just creep everyone around him. Rin and his Lovers can be seen a little bit weirded out.

"Oh. Your Friends?"

Comet asked. Lavi nodded.

"You can say that Rin is my friend. Right?"

Lavi asked Rin. Rin shrug his shoulder like 'I don't know. You want me to become your friend? I'll do it.'

Lavi smiled and nodded. And that where Lavi and Rin become an actual friends. They were a bit hesitant to really talk to each other about nonsense because, They're worried that they didn't see each other as friends.

"So, Crocodile in Euriana Sea... Saltwater Crocodile huh... Well, This is going to be tough..."

Lavi muttered. With Rin and the others as observer, They're going to get some Rank up point from the guild just because they're part of Lavi monstrosity. Lavi go out of the Guild and instantly, Rin Group was hit by a chilly wind.

"Hm... It's not this Windy before..."

Lavi muttered. Rin already wore a thick clothing and Lavi is wearing thin clothing. It's amazing seeing how Lavi is practically didn't feel anything.

"I know you guys want me to cover you guys with Cold Barrier like I do. But sadly for you guys, I didn't have Cold Barrier. It's just my Natural Resistance.. I'm immune to the cold baby~" 

Lavi said with joking tone. The way Lavi talk really make Rin think that Lavi come from the same world as him. But he's not. He's just genuinely a weird guy. Lavi throw his magic stones and they appear on the Beach of Euriana.

There's a lot of Tourist in the beach. They didn't see Lavi and the others coming.

"Haah... I really want to enjoy the beach..."

Lavi muttered. Rin look at him and said.

"Then, Why don't you just enjoy it?"

"Really Rin? I don't have any of my wives with me... I can't enjoy any moment without my wives..."

Lavi said. Rin, Iris, Luna and Stephanie look at Lavi awkwardly. Rin muttered.

"You Simp..."

Lavi heard the word Simp and he doesn't know what it means. So, He just ignore it. But he did feel a little bit pissed off.

"Hey Rin. You're a Virgin right?"

Lavi asked. Rin look at Lavi awkwardly. Iris and Luna look away with embarrassment.

"I thought so."

Lavi said. Rin look at him annoyingly.

"You don't have to give me that bullshit..."

Lavi pat Rin back. He apologize dearly and pat his head. Rin blushed and it shocked both Iris and Luna.

"Hey Rin. Want to be my Little Brother?"

Lavi asked. Rin look at Lavi seriously.

"You sure?"

Rin was so serious. Iris and Luna turn pretty serious as well. If Rin accepted that offer, They will become a Semi-Sibling to Lavi.

"Of course not you silly. I just want to tease you a bit."

Lavi said to Rin. He just play with Rin feelings. It really hurt Rin and Lavi apologize again. He walk to the Sea and Rin was pretty bummed out.

"Don't Mind!"

They said. Rin nodded. Iris, Luna and Stephanie would definitely want to have Lavi as their Older Brother because, He's really mature. And a year older than Iris and Luna. And in Typical Older Sibling Fashion. He teases them all like nothing.

And when they see Lavi going to the Ocean. They see the True Lavi. The cold Lavi. He was looking fard into the Sea. He look down slightly like he notices something.

Rin go toward Lavi.

"What's the matter Lavi?"

Rin asked. Lavi put his finger on Rin mouth. He was quiet. The Crocodile is coming closer and closer. Lavi see a Child far away on the Distance playing with his dad. Lavi vanished and come back with the two people.

"Sir, I'm sorry, There's Behemoth in the water."

Lavi said. The Dad and the Boy trust Lavi word immediately. They quietly go away.

"Wait Lavi, Why is the Behemoth not responding?"

Rin asked quietly. Lavi said.

"So, The Behemoth is sleeping really deep in the sea. Remember this Rin. Behemoth Range is big... They can detect prey from miles away. And they use Sound to hunt when they were sleeping. As soon as things popped in their ears, They lunged and the prey. Was never seen again."

Lavi said. Rin nodded. The three girls arrived. Lavi look at Rin and said.

"Rin. You want to see my power at its best right?"

Lavi asked with a cool smile. Rin nodded. Lavi pat his head and said.

"Well then. You're about to see it."

Lavi said. Rin was excited. But his face hide all of that excitement. Making him look like a normal person. Iris, Luna and Stephanie was pretty excited as well.

"Listen well you lot. In the world of monster. The Strongest one always win. So, If you want to survive Vantage. You need to be strong. But let me tell you guys this. You're strong. So, Good luck in the future. Cause, We're going to see each other less and less each day passes."

Lavi said. That makes Rin quite sad. He's about to lose someone he admire again. But, That doesn't really matter because, It give Rin something to chase for. And the Girls know Lavi true intention really fast.

"Here's my Last act for you guys before we part ways for couple of days."

Lavi said. Everyone nodded. Lavi put his hand forward and he call his Divine Armament. He suppress his power because, He doesn't want to freeze everything.

Everyone can feel the coldness of the Blades. Rin realize. He can't reach that Level in a matter of Years. He need an eternity to caught up with Lavi. But, That doesn't matter to him. Because, Lavi is an older brother figure.

He will always chase his Older Brother and maybe. One day. Pass him. Lavi vanished. And in an instant, They see a Wall of Ice protecting the Beaches. And Lavi was standing in that Wall of Ice. He look down and let out his Killing Intent. The Behemoth Reacted. Lavi jumped up high and the Crocodile leaped up and it shocked everyone.

A beast as big as that Crocodile is hunting them from below the abyss. And it's Reaching toward Lavi. The Snout touch Lavi feet. Lavi push his legs down and slam the Crocodile down to the Water again. Lavi charged down and end it instantly.

"Bloom. Ice Flower."

Lavi muttered. Lavi Icy stab the snout of the Crocodile. And from the Crocodile, A Big Blossoming Ice Flower appear. And it pierced the Skin and explode the head off. The Crocodile was dead instantly. Lavi grab the Crocodile with one hand and he make the Ice Road Bigger. He look at Rin and said.

"Good Luck Rin. I know you're going to be strong."

Lavi said. He deactivate his Icy and take the Corpses to the Storage Magic. Lavi teleported all of them to the Adventurer's Guild and report his mission. It was deemed successful and Lavi was give 20 Royal Platinum Coin. And he give 2 each to Rin Group.

Lavi hug All of them and said.

"Good luck you lot. I'm... Going to go back to doing king stuff. I enjoy spending time with you guys and I await your arrival."

Lavi said. Rin look at Lavi awkwardly.

"S-So... W-When are you going to be free again?"

Rin asked with embarrassment. Iris and Luna never see Rin act like that before. It seems like Rin and Lavi is really close. And it seems like Iris and Luna seeing some forbidden stuff like Boys Love that they always wanted...

They thought about Pixel one before but, They never really see Luke. And now, It's Rin, The Boy they love and Lavi. The man they admire the most. The one who save them from most stuff.

"Don't cry Rin. You're going to make me feel bad. I'm only gone for Political Trip for 3 Days. And you might hear the news of what f****d up s**t I do to someone. But, Don't think badly of me."

Lavi said. Rin chuckle. Once again, Rin hug Lavi really tight and said.

"Thank you for giving me a Chance to stay in this amazing country of yours... I'm really glad that I came to Vantage."

"Hey man. As A Husband of the Goddess who take care of this World. It's my Pleasure to have people like you. But remember Rin. I don't care who you are. If you do Crime. I'm going to be the one who give you a Judgement."

Lavi said Seriously. It's the perfect time to teach Rin how Shireno work. And he understand quickly.

"Take care Lavi. I hope we see you again Later.

"See you."

Lavi said. Rin wipe away his cold sweats that Lavi let out when he warn Rin. But Rin know, Lavi doesn't want to kill Rin because, he likes him Already so, He's not going to let Rin stray from the correct path.

Lavi walk away slowly and everyone bowed toward him. They walk off to the South District to find good Inn.

Lavi reach the Castle and he go to the Conference room.

"Angelo. Any news?"

Lavi asked. Angelo shake his head.

"No Your Majesty. There's no news come from Menez Kingdom. And as you said, I've cancelled the plan of you visiting Menez."

"Good."

Lavi said. It seems like he have some other plan.

"But you're still going to visit Menez right?"

Angelo asked. Lavi nodded.

"Of course. I want to see that Robots that they're talking about... I have some sneaking suspicion that they're doing something really bad."

Lavi muttered. Angelo can only pray for Lavi Safety because, He's going to visit some really unknown country. That's not known for it's best action toward it's own Citizen.

But apparently, They act really nicely toward Tourist. Apparently, They're sacrificing the health of their own Citizen just to make other country Citizen to stay there longer before becoming a full pledge Citizen.

And then they get forced to do something like that as well. It's a Dirty tactic that definitely used by a lot of countries that have yet to be discovered by Lavi.

'Well, I could just destroy them with my Swords. Sinking them to the Sea would be the best choice for the future...'

Lavi thought. He was going to do what Bianca have told him to do. To destroy all the Robots and stop the apocalypse. Of Course, Lavi is more than capable to stop it by himself.

But, He doesn't want to do it too early because, He's going to receive a lot of political backlash from other country saying something like, Lavi is too cruel and abuse of power.

And he doesn't want to be called that. Because, He's been a hero once and everyone is afraid of him. And he doesn't want to improve on that.

He want to change everyone perspective that, Hero is someone good. And not someone that people should fear. But just respect.
