Chapter Seven Since Myrtle wasn’t completely satisfied with the result of her talk with Lee, she conveniently forgot to mention a few of the projects on her list. She was going to need an excuse to get the man back over to her house. He ended up surprising her by having done a very careful, thorough job with the repairs that she did give him to finish. The only thing that he hadn’t fixed was the planter that needed to be reattached to the back wall of the house—he hadn’t had the right screws.
