I will never get used to the sickening feeling brought by the Halo. My insides tumbled upon themselves. My stomach mashed with my kidneys and my intestines wanted to coil around my lungs. An overwhelming feeling of rising nausea accompanied the dazzling colors of the maelstrom that the Halo threw us into. I had to close my eyes to avoid getting dizzy. If it was any consolation, I have mastered the landing. Without knowing how, I knew when to ready myself for the fall, it was as though my reflexes could sense when to kick in. A second before we fell, I braced myself and landed gracefully to the ground with my knees bent a little. I felt a wave of victory as I straightened up.
