“What have you hunnies been up to lately?” I heard Aeriella ask as I stepped out of her tiny but colorful bathroom. Michael did not answer. He and the mermaid were in the living room of the latter’s beach house. The space was cramped, but it was homey. The walls were painted a bright yellow and the tiled floor was white.
