I used my phone to light up the stairs that had black spider webs all over them. Just one look was enough to give me goosebumps. There was barely any space to land my feet on. I gritted my teeth and prepared to head up the stairs.
Ding.
The elevator door to the left of the stairway suddenly opened. Bright light came out of the elevator. It stood out from the dark and quiet world I was in.
Surprised, I looked inside. It was empty.
“Does the elevator actually still work?” I looked at the stairs and back at the elevator. No matter what, it still looked like a coffin to me. If anything weird happened during the elevator ride, or if any evil spirits appeared, there would be no way of escaping!
