She left work a few hours early so she could get home early enough to pack and make sure everything was ready for the party tomorrow. Though she had planned to make Toby a special dinner, Jack offered to barbecue and have his chef make the sides (right, he had a live-in chef for all the people living there…still weird for her to comprehend).
Brandon had, at first, made the situation as unbearable as possible until Toby mentioned Zuri living close by. Apparently it helped him to know he would be near this girl he had been seeing everyday and talking to for hours every night. Honestly, Anya hoped to meet these girls and their mom while they were there. She figured the girls’ mom would want to know more about her sons’ intentions with her own daughters.
