Chapter 20

3311 Words

Anya   She woke up a bit earlier after a restless sleep. Yesterday was…yesterday could have gone better. She kept Brandon from school after a few incidents. Toby tried to stay behind, but she insisted he not miss anything. Brandon had stayed in his room Monday, but at some point on Tuesday afternoon, things started to change. He got irritable, combative, and when Anya tried to stop him from leaving the house, he swiped at her—missing—and then shifted. She will never again try to grab for his wolf.
