Chapter 8Wes watched as Lily breathed in her sleep. She was next to him on the double bed, a blanket pulled over her shoulders and her little fists under one cheek. He’d come so close to losing her today. It hadn’t hit him until they’d settled down for the nap a couple of hours earlier. When it finally did, Wes couldn’t sleep.
