CHAPTER: 45 The Earth Dragon

And then, Danny and Sarah found the door at the edge. “I think this is it? What do you think?” Danny asked Sarah and looked at her with doubt. “I too… But are you sure you will be able to beat it without my help?” After she asked it, Danny replied, “Don't ask the same question again and again, because it just creates doubt in my confidence”. After he said and started to move forward, Sarah smiled really for the first time. Every time she just fakes it in front of others, but this time while being with him and the joke he makes reaches her heart and the smile was so real and pure. Even Danny noticed it for a while but he doesn't want to say it to her because if he says it and she stops it then things only get awkward.

And then Danny touched the door and slowly opened the door with his hands. At first, he just feared that the door would be a trap and something would attack him but fortunately nothing happened. And they both enter into it and look around. Things are getting so spooking after entering because the whole place gives a creepy feeling to them and also it just makes them nervous and fears which is a really bad thing in a fight. And then Sarah tells Danny, “Asher listens to me, this feeling is a really bad thing. It makes us feel some kind of fear in our deep hearts and also makes us nervous about it. Accepting these things and also fighting the monster is a really difficult thing. Can’t you just team up with me?”.

Even though she said it, Danny did not back down from the decision he made, and also he said, “You see I am the kind of person who never gets back on his words. So can’t I just fight the thing even if it has more power than me. I am the man who keeps his words and also promise”. When he said it, Sarah asked him, “Why are you going to extremes for a single date with me. Just like I said to you already, there are so many good women in this world. Can’t you find anyone other than me? Why are you risking your life for this, I am not worth it” After she said it, Danny just gets close to her and touches her hair, and says, “You know what, I heard one thing by passing on the route, one woman says to her boyfriend or husband, I don't know but the thing she said is something”.

“What did she say?” Sarah asked him and Danny replied, “A woman always likes a man who is true to his words. Even though the reality is harsh, he has to be true to his word. And I like men just like that, so be true to me”. After he said it, Sarah just saw his eyes for some seconds and said, “Sometimes, people have to close their eyes on some situation, also they have to close their mouths on some situation and close their ears from hearing on some situation because the person does these things not just they being lame or false, they just wants to protect what they want to protect. So don't ever try to harsh yourself for it. Just do what you want to do”.

When she said it, Danny started to think that she was not just telling the common thing, she was just telling the truth about herself. “Sarah, then what you are doing is also kind of keeping some truth, right?” Danny asked. When he asked about it, Sarah just stayed quiet for a while and replied, “It’s not about me you i***t, I am saying it as usual. Are you overthinking? Because I think you are an overthinker. Just by having my saying and you started to think that I am indirectly speaking about my past. No… I am not that kind of person. If I want to tell, I will speak and if I don't then I will be quiet about it”. After she said it, Danny was just embarrassed and looking down.

And while they both speak without any idea what is the monster they are going to face right now. And then suddenly a roar was heard for them, it was coming from deep in the cave. Then they started to hear that the monster was slowly walking towards them. “Do you hear it?” Danny asked and Sarah said, “Yeah, I can hear it… It is just making its entrance now. Let's see what kind of monster it is?” After saying it, they both watched the darkest part of the monster and the first leg got out of the shadow and then the monster got out from the shadow and looked around the place. Sarah and Danny were shocked when they saw, “Wow it was so big when compared to other monsters”. And Sarah said, “s**t… this is not good”. When she said it, Danny was confused and asked “What are you telling me, this looks big but at the same time it was so small from the monsters I thought in my mind”. When he said it, Sarah was confused and beat his head too hard.

“You i***t, do you know what this is?” And Danny just nodded his head as no to her and Sarah said, “This is Earth Dragon… Its skin was so thick and also it was able to use the shield skill. No one can beat it easily, can’t your stone brain be able to get it?” After she said it, Danny just smiled at her and said, “I am going to face it alone and defeat it for the date. There is no back on my words so I have nothing to worry about. All I have to think about is how to beat it”. After saying it, he started to get towards the earth dragon.

“So now who is the one who gets into my resting place?” When the earth dragon talked, Danny was just surprised and looked at it, while Sarah only was able to hear the earth dragon’s roar. “Hey… don't get close to it, it started to roar”. When she said it, Danny was really surprised and looked at her with a shocked look and he asked, “Can’t you hear what he said?”. When he said it, Sarah said, “What are you talking about, i***t? It just roars so loud and you were asking this question. I don't even know what gender this monster is?” After she said it, Danny turned back and saw the earth dragon closely. What is happening? I can hear like it was talking to me? And then with a low voice, Danny started to speak up with the earth dragon.

“Huh… Hello, are you speaking?” Danny asked with little much fear and when he talked directly to the earth dragon, Sarah looked confused by watching what he was doing and the earth dragon too was confused when he was talking to him without any fear or hesitation, and more than that he was able to hear what he was saying. “Hey… Who are you? How the hell are you able to understand what I am saying?” And Danny replies, “That’s the same doubt I had in my mind, can you explain to me?”. When he asked it for some seconds the earth dragon was just being quiet and looking at him.

“You are really special… I think I have an answer to your question but to get it from me. You have to fight me. And also tell your name before we start our fight” After he said it, Danny got confused and looked at the earth dragon. “Are you telling me to fight you to know why I can talk with you like I can talk with other beings? If you ask me that fighting you to get an answer means I would say no but the situation has changed when I want to date Sarah. So even if you don't want to answer me, I will still fight you” with a devilish smile. When the earth dragon sees Danny’s smile and soon realizes that Danny is not a normal being who was born in this world.

“My half soul is Danny and the other half soul is Asher. We are both really happy to meet you. My other half wanted something to talk to you but after you challenged me, he liked the offer and said, “If we beat you then you have to become our servant”. When Danny said it, the earth dragon angered him and roared so loud and angry. And while listening to him, Sarah was shocked to know his secret about him. Is he talking to the earth dragon and also what he says about the soul? Does he have two souls inside him? Sarah was consumed with so many questions in her mind.
