CHAPTER: 16 The Magical Stone

The serpent said to The Dragon King, The Wizard, The Princess, and The King about the Magical stone and its power. “If you get that Magical stone then you will get immortality and the power to rule this world. But this stone can be hidden anywhere among the Seven mountains at the race; only the Serpents have the knowledge to know where it was located at that time”. When he said it everyone was confused and asked him, “Zigen, what are you saying? I can’t understand”.

   Zigen is the name of this Serpent. Each Serpent has a name and responsibility, Rigen has to protect the Elf kingdom and Zigen has to protect the Dragon Kingdom, the other two Serpents are Uigen and Wigen. Uigen was the protector of the Swordsmen Kingdom and Wigen was the protector of the Wizard Kingdom.

   God created them to protect this land from unwanted war and problems. And to maintain the balance of power of Serpents, he also created messengers with them. They have the blood mixed with god’s power so they four have divine power. And at the mountain of Ozuisis, Zigen was talking with the leaders of each kingdom about the race and its rules. While explaining the Dragon King was so confident that he will achieve the magical stone just right now without any worries because even just now Zigen said that it was being on this mountain and with his higher mana level he will find it without any worries but the reality is something else.

   After the Dragon King started to climb the mountain, the weather started to change so drastically but with his higher mana, he created a protective barrier around him to keep him safe but the thing is he wasn't able to find the magical stone. Even he has no clue about the magical stone, how it looks, how to get powers from it, and where it is specifically? Other than the four Serpents no other being can feel the magical stone’s presence even if it is near them.

   Losing his hope, Dragon King came back to the meeting place and sat on his chair with an angry face. After knowing that even the Dragon King was facing difficulties, the other three leaders were accepted to the race but at that time the Swordsmen Kingdom leader backed back off from it by saying, “If you guys want to do it then do it but I know about my people’s life. Even if the Dragon King isn't able to achieve it then surely it would be an impossible task for the Swordsman. And by concerning my people’s life. I will not allow my people to participate in this race.

   At that time, Zigen was so angry towards him and glared at him, with that sharp look of anger, The King was feared and his body started to tremble more. Then Zigen got near to him and said, “Even the sparrow bird has more knowledge than you if you ask me about you”. When he said it, The King was so angry towards Zigen but he wasn't able to do anything because, while Zigen was speaking, he was emitting his mana more and making him fear so much.

   And then he said, “This race is not just about the mana, that’s why Dragon King was lost to find that magical stone, the real thing is different. Even God didn't tell us about that magical stone. All we can know about it was that the magical stone was guarded by spirits and they are the ones making the magical stone invisible and changing the place from mountain to mountain to keep it safe. At that time the Elf Princess asked Zigen, “Why the spirits are keeping it safe and trying to protect it from us? Is there anyone who tries to achieve it?” When she asked it Zigen just said with a most bored face, “I don't know, the answers are with the spirits, if any one of these four species achieves the magical stone then that person would know about the truth”.

   After he said it, the King was really upset because Zigen was ordering him to make his people join this race when he did not like it. Zigen noticed it and said to him, “I know what you are thinking about but let me clarify one thing. Each species has different unique talents, you four are different kinds so don't think like you and your people are weakest among these kinds. In the eyes of gods, everyone's equal and that’s the rule of him”.

   After he said it, the king replied, “Really even now I have no brave to say yes to it but I do now. I think there is no rule about all four species having to participate in this race, right? Then if anyone in my kingdom wants to participate in this race I won't be a problem with it but at that same, I don't push my people to do it against their will”. After saying it, Zigen was happy and replied, “Now you decide as a real King for the Swordsmen Kingdom. Ok, I accept it”.

   After then everyone accepted the race to achieve the magical stone and it has happened for so many years but still, no one can find it and achieve it. In the Dragon Kingdom, only the royal Dragon can participate in the race because they feel that if any one of the lower level dragons achieves it then the royal dragon’s pride would be destroyed so the first Dragon King created this rule to make sure his lineage will achieve the magical stone than other species.

   But it was different in other kingdoms, The Wizard king made a rule that if anyone wants to participate in the race, they can join it was not only for the royal but the one thing they did not accept was allowing the witch. In the Wizard Kingdom, they believe that witches are weaker than the wizards on the mana level and also holding the spells so the wizard king didn't allow the witches to participate in the race and it started to continue for so many years. And in the Elf Kingdom, the Elf princess didn't have an interest in the race if anyone wanted to participate, she cared about them, all she was interested in was her royal blood and her happiness.

   When one of her throne ministers asked about the race to her, the answer was, “Don't worry, I am sure that no one in this world can achieve the magical stone. I am sure of it”. The minister was shocked and asked her, “My highness how are you being so confident on it?” And the Princess replied, “It's so simple, the one of the Serpent Zigen said about the magical stone, while everyone is interested in the merits of it, I am the only one who listened to its demerits and the problem. He said that the magical stone was protected by spirits and changed the place every time only the serpents can able find it. So he just directly said to us but differently that no one can able to find it”.

   I am not interested in a race where we have zero percent chance of winning. All I was interested in was my royal blood and my happiness. My grandmother gave me work and it was carried on for so many generations but still not even a single princess of the next generation fulfilled it and I have to do it and find the real truth”. And when the minister asked about the details of that work, she just shouted at him and said, “This is a secret carried by royal blood, you dirt or not have the right to know about it. You have your work to do, just get out of here and finish it”.

   And now the present… After the battle between Arago, Rigen and Orban was ended, everything was settled and at that time the soldiers of the Elf kingdom landed there and came in front of Orban in a prideful manner. “Orban… Our Highness wanted us to check on things and reason about an earthquake and after seeing the place here. It's verified that you tried to destroy the place of Highness. It is an act of treason, if I want I can arrest you and kill you in front of Princess. Do you want that to happen? Even the protector of yours, the god of the Serpent for the Elf Kingdom, was not here to save you”.

   When the soldier said it, Rigen came in front of him with his human form and caught his neck. When he did it, the other soldiers pointed their weapons towards Rigen and shouted to let the commander down but as soon as Rigen used his mana energy to make them fall to the ground. And he got close to the commander and said, “You pathetic Elf, how dare you talk to my messenger in that way. I dare you to say that again, you and your pathetic soldiers”. When he said it, the commander was shocked and tried so hard to speak and asked, “Who are you?”.

   And then Rigen introduced himself to him, “I am the serpent you talked about right now. And one more thing, I am not under the control of the stupid Elf princess. If anything happens to him then sure the princess you are talking about and the kingdom you are loyal to will be destroyed and gone like the dust”. After he said it, Rigen threw him down, after that the commander struggled a little to breathe and later he became normal and tried to wake his soldiers. And Rigen used his spell to wake them up and healed, after the soldiers and commander opened the portal to get back to Kingdom and that time Rigen shouted towards them, “I just had a nice fight here, that’s why the earthquake occurred. Just say it to your stupid Princess”. After hearing that without saying anything, they have just gone back to kingdom but while going, the commander said, “You stupid snake, one day sure you will die and I will be the cause of it” in low voice”.

   Then Rigen said his wishes to Orban and went away from the village, after that, the sky got back to blue and the sun was showing its face without any worries. And the village people were getting out of the house and the unconscious elves were getting back to her consciousness after Rigen left the place. And Esldair gets the battle place and came near to Orban, “Is everything is alright?” And Orban replied, “Everything turned good, at least for now. Let's hope nothing bad will happen to us again”. After that, he asked her to treat Arago and Aradia and she took Arago in her arms while Veneth helped to lift Aradia but he can’t able to hold her, so Orban asked some elves to help Aradia, and Veneth also went with Esldair to be with Aradia until she gets well.
