CHAPTER: 38 A New Start

After some months of training, finally, Danny and Alice were trained under Hiro and learned some of the things which made them good. Alice learned about her sword’s power and also how to control and master it. As well as she being training with Hiro, her sword spirit helped her. And Danny learned to use spells and protect himself from danger. Then at last everything was done and at last Alice and Danny were preparing to get out of the island and return to their way to achieve Asher’s goal.

“Thank you for your help, Master. I will get even stronger from now on” Danny said to Hiro and touched the ring. It glitters so differently and shines so good. “Danny whatever happens, don't let the ring off of your hand and you know the reason and the importance,” Hiro said to him and patted his head. “Yeah, I know my master. This ring helps me to collect the mana around me and helps to use it on my spell and also I have to be in control otherwise it would go berserk, right. Don't worry Master, I will take care, and also if I was stuck on a problem then Alice would help me there so there is no reason for me to use my full potential” Danny said to him.

And Hiro said, “See, you know your situation right… Now you can't use Asher and his power so you have to protect yourself without anyone’s help. Be strong. I have faith in you and you have to keep it to yourself”. After saying it, May started to chant the spell to get out of the island while Alice feels bad about saying goodbye to Hiro, even Danny feels sad about it, and then the next second the three were back in the forest near the mountain Aqugesis. “Brother we came back here, what now? Are you going to climb up?” Alice asked him but Danny replied, “Nope, now I am a bit tired so I am going to take some rest in the nearby village then we will think about it”. When he said it, May replied, “Oh… Is that so then can we get to the Swordsmen kingdom and get some rest there. I wanted to go there”. When May said it, Alice looked sad thinking about her past sister and brother, Danny noticed it and held Alice’s hands.

And then she changed her expression and said to her, “Ok, let's get there in May. Are you going to use the same spell to get there soon?” With a hilarious smile May just said, “Yeah, I hate to be in a cave or middle of the forest. So let's just sleep peacefully inside the inn”. When she said it, Danny was really worried and said, “See, Both Alice and I had no money with us so do you think they let us sleep inside the inn without money?” And May changed her expression into a villainous smile and said, “Don't worry about it, because I got some money bag with me”. And May showed them the gold coins and silver coins inside the bag. Alice and Danny were shocked to see it and asked her, “Where did you get this?” And without saying anything, she just laughed just like an anime villain.

Alice and Danny understand from her laugh and in the cloud island, after sending off them, Hiro gets inside his house and makes a coffee to drink and feels so relaxed for a minute and then he realizes something. What is it? I feel something odd here. How can that pipsqueak go without doing anything just like good and normal. Something is wrong here… After thinking about it, Hiro starts to check around the house and checks whether everything is good and not stolen. After searching for some hours, he couldn't find any missing things and it really made him happy but then he realized and went into his secret box where he stored the money to buy some goods and it was missing. “You PIPSQUEAK… One day, I am sure I am going to kill you” Hiro really got angry with her and shouted so loud while the sun was setting down and night fell.

And then Danny, Alice, and May got inside the Swordsmen kingdom, “It looks so much better than the last place. It looks so great and cool…” May said it. “May you have been here in the past?” Danny asked and she replied, “Yeah, the last time I came here after the war ended, even though it was one time and I wasn't able to stay here long because of my father. He never wants me to stay safe in heaven” while saying it may be really worrying and so sad. Danny comforts her and says “Don't worry, right now you're here, and let's enjoy this time while Alice and I train ourselves from the journey”. And May nodded her head and sat on his shoulder.

While Alice is so sad and holding Danny’s hand so tight. “Alice, are you ok? If you don't want to be here then we can get out as soon as possible after May look at all the shops and look around the city” Danny asked her and Alice replied, “No, I am ok brother but I can't come towards the guild. I will get the rooms and in the meantime, you get the adventure ID card. Because if you get that then we can have some discounts at Inn and some other shops”. Then Danny got confused and asked, “Are you sure? You see, the rule was to not pass any other kingdoms without permission and I also look like a wizard”. And then Alice looked at him and said, “Don't worry about it, all you have to do is change the dress and have a sword which Master Hiro gave it to you”.

“In this kingdom, everyone gets their sword when they are born and it gets perfect when the person gets perfect. So they never check on your sword and only ask about your name and sword mana level and its type”. Even though Alice said it, Danny still feels somewhat doubts about it. But still, he went there to get the Adventure Card from the guild. “Hello… Anyone here inside the guild house?” with a confused expression, Danny just gets inside and the guild master is working on some work. “Oh… Are you a newcomer? What do you need this late?” I need to sign up for the Adventure guild and need a card". After he said it, the guild master replied, “Oh, then say your name and the type of your sword”.

“Huh… my name is Asher and my sword type is Dark Collector,” Danny said with some hesitation. The guild master noticed and asked, “Hey… Are you telling the truth? How did your sword work, explain to me?” After he asked, Danny said what Asher said to him mind. “Huh… My sword’s power is to get the mana from the enemies and attack with that. In a simpler way, it's more like a fight back against their mana”. After he said it, the guild master was shocked and said, “I never heard about this sword but also in this kingdom, everyone has a different type of sword and their specialty but yours is something. I think yours is rarer than normal”. When he said it, Danny was really confused and asked, “Can you explain it because I don't know about it well”.

Then the guild master started to explain to him about the swords and how they work differently. “You see kid, everyone’s swords are unique but at the same time, some people are the same like the non-natural element types. For example, the swords help to hypnotize, help to grow plants faster, or even change the rock into gold by slicing, poisoning people. These type non-natural element type swords are a little common and the natural element type swords are rare examples, Water, Air, Fire, Ice, Lighting but yours is more like Dark-type which is even rarer than others.

These dark type swords are very few like, Shadow, Steal, Kill, Curse, these four are rare and you have the sword type of steal but the description is different.

The steal sword steals the mana from another swordsman’s sword but just like in the name it is only used for stealing it unlimited like a void without limit but your attacks with that mana energy are something. I like to see how it works so can you show me right now”. When he said it, Danny was shocked and he tried to escape but the guild master did not have any idea about letting him go. “Are you sure about it because it is getting late? What if you give me the card today and let me show the power of my sword tomorrow?” Even though he tries so hard about putting the idea onto him, the guild master is not buying it. And then without any choice, Danny went to the sparring area with the guild master for a friendly fight.

“Take your sword out… Kid, Let me show the strength of my giant”. After saying it, the guild master raised his hand out and took his sword. Danny was shocked after seeing his sword. “What is that? It looks so big just like you”. When he said it, the guild master laughed so hard and replied, “Kid, this is my sword which has the power of a giant. Which never breaks while blocking the attack and also being so strong on the offensive”. After hearing it, Danny is afraid of it. “Do you want to do this right now?” the guild master just nodded his head. Without any option, he just took the sword and faced him. “Let's fight now”. Then the fight started, without any hesitation, the guild master just attacked so hard Danny while he just blocked every attack without any worries, even himself shocked to witness it. Am I this strong… Master Hiro’s training made me strong even without having any mana. And now it's Asher’s job to do his work.

And Asher started to place the spell on the sword to steal the mana from the guild master’s sword. “Now, let me show my sword’s power”. After saying it, he used his sword and started to drain mana from his sword but that’s not all… The sword started to drain the guild master’s life mana from him. As soon as it started to drain him, he noticed and stopped the fight. “Let's end this” he shouted and got back. As soon as he shouted, Danny placed the sword out from there. Then the guild master said to him, “Hey Kid… I think you don't know about your own sword’s true nature”. When he said it, Danny was really surprised and confused, “What are you saying? If it does not steal the mana from another's sword then what it does do?”. Then the guild master said, “Your sword just not takes the mana from other swords, it also takes the life mana from the enemy”.

When he said it, Danny was shocked and then took out his sword again and looked at it so closely. What kind of spell did Asher place on it… With a confused expression, Danny looks at his sword.
