CHAPTER: 34 Battle and Love-2

While the funeral is taking place, a woman is on top of the building and watching over the entire thing without emotions on her face. She just looks at Tatsumi’s body and says in a low voice, “A Fake”. And then she just jumped to the next building and started to move out from there. After reaching the Wall around the Kingdom, four members were waiting for her and said, “Commander, we need to go for patrol”. And then she grabbed the black mask from her junior and gave the order. “Just get to the marked place and watch over everything. Don't even miss a sight of a single insect”. And then she wears the mask and starts to move around the wall to check whether everything is under control and nothing bad happens inside or outside the kingdom while the funeral is happening peacefully.

After she reached the marked place, she saw some of the monsters were roaming around the forest. The entire Dragon Kingdom and its forests were on the floating island. While the other kingdoms were being down, the Dragon Kingdom was still not as high as the mountain. For some reason, it just levitated in the middle between the land and sky. Some of them say it's a curse and others say it's a divine blessing from god. Even though it was separated from the ground, still somehow the monsters were respawning in the forest and causing constant trouble to the kingdom. The soldiers managed it properly but now they were in the funeral place, without anyway, the stealth team was working on that job.

After getting there, she just started to fight off the monsters and killed every single one of them. “These annoying things are just reminding me of him. I never want to forgive him and also can't forget him”. While fighting the monsters, she started to remember her past when she and Dragon Prince Tatsumi met and became so close to each other. Exactly two years ago before she was in the stealth group, she was a soldier under the 22nd group”. They do not have much work just patrolling around the city and protecting and guiding the citizens. After he said it, Tatsumi was really happy about it and moved out so quickly even though he didn't ask for some soldiers for his protection. Tatsumi always wanted to prove his power and strength to the Dragon King, the reason is unknown but somewhat he feels so sad in his heart and also thinks like he is distanced from the Dragon King and Queen-like he is someone. Until that day she didn't know who Tatsumi was. And as for the 22nd group’s request, we all dispatched and started to kill as many monsters in that area and search for the children as far as I got I wasn't able to find anyone and also any clue to find them. But I sense someone was being above on tree and soon I used my sword to cut off the tree and pointed out toward the person and it turns out that the person being in the tree is Dragon Prince Tatsumi.

“Dragon Prince… Is that you?” As soon as I figured it out soon, I kneeled before him and looks down. And he gets up slowly and shouted towards me with a loud voice, “What the hell are you….” After seeing her beauty Tatsumi falls in love with her. Soon he stopped talking and said, “It's alright, and who are you?”. Without looking at him, with a kind voice she replied, “My name is Marlin and soldier of 22nd group, Prince”. After hearing her voice, even he has fallen in love with her more. Even though she is more beautiful than other royal girls but also has a fine and kind voice. If I have her by my side, I will feel like I got everything in this world. While saying to himself, Tatsumi started to think how things would go if he marries her and had two children and become the Dragon King in the future and his child becomes the Dragon Prince.

While he was dreaming about it, Marlin started to speak, “Sorry prince, to talk without permission but can’t we get to find the children right now?” And then Tatsumi back to normal and said, “Yeah, I have some leads on it, so let's both get together and find out whether the clues show the route to the children”. When she said it, Marlin was really surprised and asked, “Huh.. Mmm… Is that alright to you about going together with a low-level Dragon soldier like me?” While talking because of the nervous, her face turned little red which made Tatsumi fall in love with her more. How beautiful she can be become and show to me. Already she has fine skin and a beautiful face, and a kind voice and now while being red her face looks so beautiful. I want to make her mine soon… Even now is ok, no I can’t I am the prince of this kingdom. As soon as he remembers about the words of his father, Tatsumi changed and said, “You are a soldier of this kingdom so there is nothing to worry. Our goal is the same, to rescue the children so let's just go together and also as companions it's helpful to fight freely”.

After he said it, Marlin started to like Tatsumi. Marlin is a girl who wants to become a fine soldier and also her family itself as soldiers for several generations. So after hearing the thoughts of Tatsaumi about his dedication to reducing the children, she made herself like him. I never thought Prince Tatsumi would be so nice to all, even though he was so great at thinking and not bothering about fighting along with the low-level dragon like me. He is going to become a fine and great Dragon King.

After that, they both got into a battle with some monsters and fought so hard. In the middle of the battle, their feelings started to increase and a new beautiful bond was just created between them. After then they both started to meet each other so frequently and started to fall in love with each other. “I Love You, Marlin''... “I Love You Too… My Prince” and they kissed on top of the top building. And that’s where she stands and looks at Tatsumi’s funeral. And then she just stopped thinking about all the memories and concentrated on fighting the monsters. Marlin just killed the monsters without any hesitation or emotions. She just slays every monster in her sight so fast and walks around to check the perimeter for securing from monsters.

Then one of her subordinates came there and said, “Commander, we killed some of the monsters and their camps, now today’s threat has been dealt with. What do we have to do now?”. And Marlin ordered, “Inform others to hold their position until the soldiers get back to their work. We have to protect this kingdom when it becomes weak and in a sorrowful state”. While saying it, she just looked at the building in the kingdom. And the subordinate asked her, “Commander, is everything alright? It looks like you're feeling so down?”. And Marlin replied, “No there is nothing to worry. I think my mana was down because of fighting these monsters for so long. If i rest for a few minutes I would get back to my normal pace”. And then the subordinates get out from there and Marlin also gets under the tree and falls asleep.

While sleeping, all she is able to think about is Tatsumi and how she enjoyed the time while being with him. And then suddenly the places were changed in her conscious and then she started to recall the memories of her being tortured by the soldiers and she can barely able look but able to identify the person and with tears in her eyes, Tatsumi was being outside the room. As soon as she recalled the memory, Marlin woke up and started to get back inside the forest to check on the monsters.

At that time a group of slimes with Morakets were forming a group and getting on the lake. After seeing them, Marlin just gets towards them and starts to kill every monster so brutally. Where even some people mistook the meaning of a monster for her. And then with an annoyed look she said towards the monster being under her foot and struggling for survival. “The King, The Queen, and the Princess are just making a fake face in front of the people. I doubt that psycho Queen would cry for a person who is not her son”. After telling it to that monster, she just killed the monster and threw the head aside.

While these things were happening here, inside the kingdom, the funeral ended in the middle of everyone. After that, the Dragon King steps near the statue to speak some words to his people. “My beloved dragons, this day is sorrowful and sad for us. The black clouds were consumed and blocked our ray of light. But never forget the ray of light can be blocked by some evil entities but never can block the powerful beam of light that is at the top of our world. Just like that, we all are the beam and core of light so no one can stop it”. While the Dragon King started to speak, everyone started to feel so strong and stopped crying. And The Dragon Queen and Princess Satomi were acting like crying for Tatsumi. And in a low voice, Satomi says to the Dragon Queen, “I never thought you would appear for his funeral. At the time we thought you just hated Tatsumi but then we both realized that you never liked us both. You just looked at us as throwing the trash to save your son’s life”.

While Satomi said it to her, the Dragon Queen replied, “We are being in the middle of public and royal dragons’s so just act like you were worrying for him. And also, indeed I never accepted you both as my child. You both are just a product we brought to hide the truth to save my real son”.
