CHAPTER: 30 Fight between Tatsumi and Asher

With a powerful attack, Tatsumi just dashed on the big rock and fell to the ground. “Who are you? How the hell do you have the strength to beat the Dragon Prince?” Tatsumi asked him and Asher replied, “You didn't even face the full strength of mine and still you are just saying I am strong. You are a kid after all”. And he just gets near to him and Asher starts to chant a spell in front of him which is a thunder spell that directly attacks the person and now Asher uses it on his half of the mana which is stronger to kill Tatsumi at two attacks.

“You are going to kill me right? I am useless trash if I get killed by a person like you” Tatsumi says and spat on the ground. With a silent smile Asher got near to his ear and said, “You know what I like to say one secret to you. At least die with confused thoughts. Till your soul passes out of your body just think with your last neuron. I am not Danny, my name is Asher and the reason I am going to kill you is that you are nothing but useless to my plan”. After he said it, Asher stands back and raises his hands towards him to launch the attack and tear his heart out. At that moment, so many things go on and on inside Tatsumi’s mind. He wasn't able to be quiet and calm, his whole mind and body were nervous.

What is he saying? If he was not the person means then who is he or he just hide his true self from us while being in the Dragon Kingdom. While he was there I wasn't able to sense anything from him. He has no mana and has no knowledge of how to use the spell. And then Tatsumi thought that to verify now whether he is Danny or not checking mana would be the right idea and after using his spell to find Danny’s mana level. He was completely shocked. What is this? His level of mana is so much equal to my dad. How would he manage to control it? If he uses spells and has mana means sure he is not that same person. Then who is he and why is he saying that I have no use for his plan? Why is my life ending so soon? Am I the weakest person even though I am the Dragon Prince? I really love you so much and Dad, you always tried to teach me important things even though I hate it but still I liked to be with you. I am so sorry”.

And then the lightning struck him twice with immense power which killed Tatsumi with lots of pain. His death is not like dying in one second without pain, while his soul passes out of his body, he felt so much pain after bearing the lightning so hard. After killing him, Asher just spat on his dead body and started to walk out of that place. “What a loser dying in my hands and this place. If he did not cross paths with me now, I would have used him for some important role to play but now I just wasted a character all because of his useless pride and overconfidence. What to do now? All finished and finishing the rest of Dragon Soldiers would give me some peace in my heart and mind”.

When he says so out loud, the other dragon soldiers hidden in the forest near Tatsumi start to run for their lives and one dragon soldier isn't able to stand and run from there. His legs were frozen because of the fear and he just placed his hands close to his face and covered his ears and faced down like a scared child. And while everyone was running to escape from Asher, he just killed everyone within ten seconds with his power. After that, he just walks toward the last person. Even though he can hear Asher walking toward him, still his legs have lost their strength to run away even will power inside his heart was crushed. At that time the things he remembers are when he was a small age, he tells his father about getting powerful and strong just like him and the Dragon King. And his father replied, “Even the weakest creature can live after the toughest battle if it has the willpower to surpass the enemy. So don't ever lose your confidence and willpower”.

And now the willpower and confidence he had in his childhood are dead after watching how the powerful being Dragon Prince was dead now. And then after watching the dragon soldier’s fear Asher pitied him and said, “I give you a chance to live but in return, you have to become my servant. If you do, then sure I won't kill you. Now tell me what’s your name?” When Asher asked him, the dragon soldier replied in a low voice. His body is still trembling because of the fear, “Luken, My name is Luken and I am a dragon soldier in the twenty-first group”. While listening to him, Asher can guess more things about the Dragon Kingdom, and also he has a plan for him.

“I am going to let you live and by that, you are going to become my faithful servant. Do you accept it?” And Luken just nodded his head and accepted with Asher. And then he said to Luken, “I need you to get back to the Dragon Kingdom and sneak some information and secrets to me. If you do just whatever I say then there is nothing to worry about. When I become the king of this world then sure I will grant you one wish where you can ask anything and I will decide about it”. After he said it, Luken just nodded his head again and said, “Th…Then can I get back now?” And Luken just started to walk away from that place and while going Asher just said, “Aii” and Luken just stopped walking and looked down with fear. “I hope you never betray me, If you do then that’s the last day for you in this world”.

After he said it, Luken just replied without looking in his direction. “I won't betray you and also I don't want to lose my life. And one thing I want to say… I know you don't trust me but one thing if I am caught in a situation like losing my life just like today then don't expect me to be loyal to you and I think you know the reason”. After he said it in fear, Asher laughed at that moment and replied, “You are something, Luken. Even though you feared me, still you said with a brave heart about betraying me in the future. If you are going to betray me then sure I do not need of you, so can I kill you” Asher said and chanted the spell towards Luken. And at that time Luken said, “You can find many spies for you but no one would be true and also you can’t find trust in them. I already lost my willpower so death is nothing to me now and in this situation, I learned a lesson which is ``be true and be true to contract”.

After he said it, Asher was really surprised and said, “You're really being true even though I know I will kill you for letting out the last chance but instead you gained my trust. Note that from now on you are going to be my assistant and when I become the God of this world then I will appoint you as the king of the Dragon Kingdom and I will share some of my mana with you and make you strong”. When he heard it, Luken was shocked and looked at him. And Asher said, “Yeah, what you said is right, trust is the most important thing and if we have a contract I can trust you more than just believing in threatening. So what do you say about my offer?” And then Luken said, “I accept it and from now on I am your faithful assistant and be true to you. Don't worry I will pass secrets and any other news via my special spell”.

When he said about his special spell Asher got curious about it and asked, “What is your spell?” And then Luken showed Asher about his spell. For a second he chanted the spell and created a salamander on the ground. “What is with this salamander? And also why is it so glitchy”. Luken was confused with the new word and asked, “What do you mean by glitchy?” For a second Asher just looked down and felt so bad, even though I made the mistake just like Danny. “Don't worry about that word, just explain about this spell?” And Luken explained it, “This spell is not for attacking or blocking enemies. It is used for spies. Even now I sent a secret message with a salamander when you were killing others but then right after you made a contract I just stopped it. Now you can understand my spelling well”.

After hearing it, Asher liked it and said, “Ok, you even made a spell which escapes from my eyes which is appreciated so I am really happy to have a faithful spy like you”. After saying it he just started to walk back to the cave and Luken gets to Tatsumi’s body and carries on his shoulder and starts to walk out from there. Luken is still the soldier of the Dragon kingdom so he just takes the prince’s body to give it back to the king. And after Asher got back to the cave he just got close to May and said, “You did a great job on protecting Alice. The one who came to kill Danny is a child so the fight was so short and he died ''.

When he said it, May said “Oh, so really you are the one who is holding the monster mania level and the other soul is just maintaining the body. This is awesome. Do you know how you can manage to use mana without damaging your body?” When May said it, Asher was really surprised about it and asked, “I don't know what you are saying? I am capable of it and I am managing the mana which is powerful that Dragon King”. When he said it, May just laughed and said, “You i***t, you don't know about it, right. Then I will say the truth, the real reason why you can handle the mana at this level is because of Danny’s soul. Without him, you can't use the mana even if this amount of mana will kill you”.

And May started to explain more about it, “Only selected souls have the capacity to hold the body and mana level and also be so strong but you and Danny use the same body. One soul holds the body with full power and the other soul holds the mana level. Because of that both body and mana are more powerful than other normal beings even if you are on equal footing with some soul creature. But keep one thing in your mind, without you Danny can live life without any problem but if Danny’s soul is destroyed then you can't use your mana to the fullest so don't act irresponsibly”. After she said it, Asher came to know about the reason why he was so powerful as other creatures, and also being a normal human he can use the mana and spell.
