CHAPTER: 24 Dragon Friend Azethe

So many people were surrounded, Danny and Alice and while looking at them Danny can find they are not just one kind of species and confused. Why are there elves, dragons, and some other people being together? I thought they gave their kingdom to live in but this is different. Also, I get a bad vibe from them, I need help from you Asher… Can you hear me? While Danny was calling out for Asher to help him. His personality just plans to beat everyone while holding Alice.

   Alice was so scared at that moment and looked at him with eyes filled with tears. And without waiting Danny shouted towards them, “I don't have anything with me. So please leave us” When Danny said it, they just laughed at him and said, “If you don't have anything with you then just drop that kid here. We would use her as this village slave, she is young so it would be a good idea”. When one of them said it Danny was so angry towards him and shouted, “Don't speak ill about my sister”. When he said it for a second everyone was stunned to hear.

   “A wizard is a brother to a girl but she is a swordsman, this is interesting to hear”. After saying it, they were in a position to attack Danny and one of them raised his sword and came too close to Danny to attack his head but Danny dodged it and protected Alice too. At that time one of them said to him, “Are you a wizard, right? Why can’t you cast any spell?” When he asked it, Danny replied while looking at Alice. “I really can’t cast any kind of spell or magic but I will protect my sister from anyone who tries to hurt her”.

   When he said it, Alice was so happy and sad at that moment. She was sad about losing her family and thinking no one was there for her but now Danny was telling her that she is his sister which makes her happy but at the same time because he is holding her as sister the group was trying to kill Danny. And with tears Alice tries to say to Danny, “Leave me… If you hold me then sure they will kill you. At least leaving me behind would make you alive”. While she was saying it, Danny stopped escaping from their attack and stood there.

   Then unexpectedly the sword slashed Danny’s back and he fell. “Why didn’t you dodge it? If your mana is dried just by escaping from us then really you are not a worthy wizard. Now I am regretting letting you live more time than I planned. Don't worry now I lost interest in her too so I will kill you both on a single s***h of my sword”. After saying it, he swung his sword towards them and at that moment went too slow for both Alice and Danny and he thought it would be the dying moment where time became too slow but in reality, the time stood slow.

   A person coming from behind gets near Danny and asks, “You are a wizard, right? Then why are you being so weak? Wizards are a powerful species equal to the dragons but you were being so weaker than I expected. If you are in this way then sure one day you will be the reason to lose your sister’s life”. When he said it, Danny and Alice were confused and looked at each other for a moment and then Danny asked, “Who are you?” And that person replied, “I am not that important person, I just thought about helping you and I am doing it”. After saying it he stood in front of them while the sword slowly got near to them and he caught the sword with his hand and said, “Release”.

   And then the time became normal and everything started to move normal and the person who swung the sword was shocked to see a dragon blocking the sword. “Hey… Hey… why is the dragon species here and how are you able to block my sword?” And he said, “You are so much weaker than me, I don't even want to use my dragon form to kill you. A dragon always fights with the human form after the great war ended and that dragon form is only used when they face some great threat you see till today I never exposed my dragon form. It means till now I never lost in battle”. After he said it, people around started to fear and started to step back and one of them said, “No… You are Azethe, right”. And he replied, “Yeah, I am the daily customer who gets this bar”.

   After that everyone started to run from there and the swordsman who tried to kill Danny and Alice was in fear and fell after Azethe released some high evil aura. And Alice also fell caught by the aura but it didn't affect Danny. After noticing Alice lost her consciousness Danny feared and started to shout, “Alice look at me? Talk something, Please” While he was shooting Azethe figured out that she was affected by the aura and lost her consciousness but then the doubt was increased in his mind, even though being weak Danny was not affected by it which surprised him.

   This is interesting, even though being weak, he stood in front of me without any fear or losing consciousness, and to verify Azethe started to increase his level of bloodlust aura. That girl has already lost her consciousness so it won't hurt her so I will increase my level of aura Azethe did it but still, it doesn't do anything to Danny and he doesn't even sense it. What is this nonsense? How in the world is this weak wizard withstanding my emitting aura, this is absurd.

   While he was thinking about it, Danny gets near to him and asks for help, “Sir, can you please help us. I need help for my sister. She suddenly lost consciousness”. And Azethe said, “Don't worry, this is nothing to worry about. I think she lost consciousness because of my aura. I know a place for a treatment. The doctor I know is well on every species so don't worry”. After Danny started to follow Azethe and carried Alice in his arms. While walking he started to ask Danny some questions to know more about him. But soon Asher realized that he was not a nice person and saying more things can put him in danger and tried to take over the body from Danny but for some reason he wasn't able to take over.

   The reason is Danny’s emotions were so high, he was worried about Alice and that emotion was so strong to block Asher from taking over the body. Damn you, little brother, I can save you in this difficult situation. I hope nothing bad will happen here and also don't open your mouth and talk like you always do, please. While Asher was worrying about him and when Azethe started to ask questions, Danny replied, “Sir, I am sorry but I am not in the mind to talk. All I can think about my sister, please help her”. And Azethe replied, “Sorry Danny, and don't worry the person I talked about is being in the middle of the forest up ahead. There is nothing to worry about”. After saying it, they don't continue to walk and Danny just looks at Alice and worries about her.

   And Asher was so relieved after he didn't say anything to Azethe. Thank goodness for the first time he was safe. Also, this guy's Azethe is something. I sensed his presence but I wasn't able to detect it and to do that I had to concentrate so hard. While I was checking about him I wasn't able to help Danny but just like I put faith in him, he managed to survive but the last attack from the swordsman was unexpected. If this guy weren't there, I'm sure I wouldn't be able to protect my little brother. And also while I was searching for him, he used a spell to slow the time… But that isn't the spell and I am sure.

   He used something else to slow the time and I need to look at it. His mana, his spell, and also his whole existence itself gives me creeps. I have to be on guard with him to protect my little brother. And at last, they both reached the house inside the forest but its appearance was so hideous and bad. “Azethe are you sure this is your friend and if so then are you sure he is a doctor?” When he asked Azethe just laughed at him and said, “I think my friend is not here, you two are inside the house and I will check around the forest and get here soon”.

   Danny nodded his head and got inside the house and placed Alice on a bed. “Rabbit please become well soon, after a long time I have someone for me I don't want to be alone again”. While saying it, Danny recalls his daily life on earth. His daily life is so normal like waking up, getting ready for work, and getting to the office. After finishing the job, I go back to my house and sleep. That’s it in his daily life, without any friends, lovers, or anyone as close to him. Danny lived a life without anyone and it was so hard for him.

   And now he got a small sister for the first time and he started to show so much love towards her and now while seeing her unconscious and not talking to him which started to raise his bad memories of being alone again. Unknowingly, his eyes started to let out some tears. While he was feeling sad and holding Alice’s hand, A woman came so fast towards him and grabbed his neck and forced him to the ground. “Who are you and what are you doing here?” Danny was scared and shouting so loud, “First tell me who are you? And what are you doing in my friend’s friend's house?”.

   At that time Azethe came there and said, “Danny are you alright? I heard your voice for help… Now I get it”. After seeing Azethe she let Danny go and stands opposite him. Then Danny gets near to Azethe and said, “Help me Azethe, she tried to break my neck and also what she doing on your friend’s house?” After he said it, Azethe just looked so down and tries to explain things to Danny, “Actually it is the friend I was said to you before, Danny. She is the doctor I said to you”. When he said it, Danny looked so shocked and saw the woman again and then without wasting any time he goes near to her and asked, “Please help my sister. She was being unconscious after being affected by Azethe’s some kind of mana or aura but please wake her up”.

   And that woman gets near to Alice and checks her condition after that she says to Danny, “There is nothing to worry about, all you need to do is to transfer some of your mana and she will be alright”. After saying it, she started to transfer some of her mana towards her and while doing her sleep started to lose tension and become some relief and started to breathe well.
