Race of Dragon and Wizard

CHAPTER: 27 Next Village

Danny and Alice moved from the forest after saying wishes to Azethe and Tiyana. Then getting back home Azethe was filled with more thoughts in his mind and just looking so into it. Tiyana worried and got close to him and hugged him so tight, “What are you thinking? Darling” Azethe said with a rough face, “Something is bugging me on his mana and also the fact you say that he can't use spells. I trust you but even though my mind never fails me and now it just keeps on telling me that this Danny is going to be my obstacle to my dream. I am sure that we are both going to cross paths at some point and then I will find the true self about him”.

   While listening to him, Tiyana was worried and said, “Azethe, you're worried about him. He is just a normal person just like in the other world. If he is alone then sure some way he becomes an obstacle for you but now he has a sister. A family which he needs to hold tight to. So sure he never keeps his step on against something dangerous like you. So don't need to worry about him. Just think about the original plan, Darling”. And with a heavy breath, Azethe changed the topic, “Yeah… Yah… The plan is about taking down the four-spell creature right. Rigen, Wigen, Zigen and Uigen… If I am correct Zigen is already trying to find me but there is no way he can find me and also by the rule anyone can join in the race. So at the time of the race, I will join and get my hand on that magical stone fallen from the god”. And Tiyana kisses him and goes back to her work on research about new herbs.

   While traveling so many things were happening to Alice and Danny, they both just enjoyed traveling and being together. Just by going Danny and Alice reached a small wizard’s village which is so different and hideous on the outside. “Is this a village? I can’t able to say it?” Danny says to Alice and at a distance, he sees some men were riding in the house and attacking the village people. Danny just looks at the distance to know what’s going on there. These people were wearing a cloak and on the back, it has some symbol which he has never seen anywhere. But Alice noticed it and said to Danny, “Brother, I saw that symbol, it is the symbol of Wizard’s kingdom”. After she said it, Danny guessed that people on horseback were soldiers of the Wizard Kingdom.

   Then to keep Alive safe Danny didn't get there until the wizard soldiers got out from the village. I have to protect Alice if I help right now then sure something bad would happen to Alice. My importance has to be her. And while he was thinking so closely, he soon noticed that Alice had already started to sleep on his arms. “Oh… My little sister, she was so tired and started to sleep already”. And then after some minutes he gets to the forest and finds a cave. I think for two days this place would be nice for us. I hope nothing gets here like the monster I faced last time.

   At that time he remembered to clarify something with his second personality. After placing her in a safe place for sleeping, Danny gets on the outside and sits to watch the sunset. And then closed his eyes and called for Asher. As soon as he called, Danny lost consciousness and fell at that place. When he opened his eyes, it was shocking that he was in the middle of green trees and beautiful flowers, everything was so nice. And at a distance, he sees someone being there and then Danny gets there to see whether it is Asher or not.

   After reaching there, he sees one person lying on the chair and sleeping. Then Danny sat on the chair near to him and tried to call him. “Are you the Asher?” And he replied, “Yeah, my name is Asher, little brother. Now tell me what do you want? Why did you want to meet me and talk about something important?” And seeing the face Danny was shocked because he just looked like him but somewhat a little beautiful. “I never thought my face would be so beautiful, even this new face is looking like a small boy”.

   And Asher replied, “This is the thing you want to talk about right now?” And then Danny changed the topic and said, “Yeah, I forgot about it, the main reason I wanted to talk with you is not just about Azethe or about the power you hold. All I need is a promise from you”. When he said it, Asher was confused and looked at him, “What are you talking about? Little brother”. And then Danny started to explain things to him. “You see I love my little sister so much, even though she just became my sister but still she is my sister so I need a promise from you”. While he was saying these things, Asher can guess what kind of promise Danny wants from him. And Asher asked, “Yeah, I know, so just say what promise do you want?”.

   And Danny said, “I want you to protect Alice and use the spell to protect her just like you do to me”. I can't see her suffering so just promise me”. When he asked it Asher felt a little sad because the plan of Asher would fail if Danny just thinks about the safe of Alice and then soon Asher smiled towards him and said, “Yeah, I will protect her just like how important to me, but in return, I need something from you, my little brother”. After he said it, Danny was really confused and asked, “What I have which you don't, literally I have nothing with me. Even now I don't have money with me, I have to hunt some animals to make food for Alice and also for me”.

   And Asher said, “I have one dream and I need you to fulfill it, can you?” When he asked it, for a second Danny was doubted but then he sees Asher is his other personality so he can trust him. Then said yes without asking what his dream was and Asher explained to him, “This is to be the king of the world and you have to fulfill it on my behalf. I will be there for you but in the name, you have been the king and I will help you for that path”. After hearing it Danny was shocked and confused, “What are you saying? Are you sure that I can become the king? Can't you see the situation I am in right now”. And Asher said, “Everything will happen just in time you don't worry about. If you promise me to fulfill my dream then sure I will protect Alice ''.

   And then Danny asked another question to Asher, “I forgot to ask, why didn't you come to help us at the village?” Then Asher was shocked when he asked it and then slowly he was answering that question. “Yeah, I am sorry but if you want the answer, I would say that I am looking for that damn dragon Azethe. When we were born in this world I started to gather so many things and that’s why I wasn't able to help you. While I am gathering the information I can’t able to use my spell powers but the normal protection factor will operate without any problem”.

   “Where did I leave… Yeah, I was looking for Azethe because I gathered enough information while being in the dragon kingdom. I found some powerful people who are equal to you even though some of them surpass you and Azethe is one of them. If we are not careful then sure nothing good will come after us from him. So we have to keep our distance from him as well as have to know his actions. In that way, we can have knowledge about his path and plan”. While Asher was explaining so many things, Danny wasn't able to get it properly. Even his mind started to hurt so much after thinking so hard about it.

   “I think you have a small brain like a sparrow, so just leave the thinning problem to me. All you have to do is enjoy your life in this world just as you want and roam around the world just like you planned with Alice. When the time comes I will tell you about the way and path you have to go and what to do ''. After saying it Asher just pushed him down and soon he woke up and opened his eyes to reality. Speaking with my other personality is something. If I say this about my world then sure everyone will think of me like an i***t and send me to the hospital but here sure some people will understand but I can't let others know about Asher because it could be used against me just like the movies and series I watched on earth.

   While he was speaking to himself for a while Alice asked him from behind, “What is it brother, Who is this Asher?” After hearing her voice it startled him and said, “Huh… No, there is no one in the name of Asher ''. And Alice looked so close to Danny and said, “I sense a secret here, now tell me who is Asher, brother?” Danny didn't want to tell the truth to her but she is his sister now, as a family and lying to her makes me sad. And without any choice, Danny started to tell the truth to her. “Alice, now I am going to say one truth to you and you have to keep quiet about it from everyone”. And then Alice also promised to him about it.

   After that, he started to tell his truth to her, “Rabbit, Asher is my second personality and he is the one who has the access to use my mana and spell. So I can't do anything about fighting with others, only he can help us. And the monster I fought outside the cave is him, not me”. After he said it Alice just looked shocked towards him and asked, “Are you telling the truth? Can I talk to him?” When she said it, Danny was doubtful whether it is good or bad to let out Asher and then he realized that this is the first thing Alice asked me after he took her as a sister and he wasn't able to say no to her with that cute face.

   “Yeah, I will let him out now”. After saying it Danny let him out to talk with Alice. “Hey…” Alice was shocked when his talk and mannerism was changed. “Are you the Asher, brother said to me right now”. And Asher said, “Yeah and why do you want to meet me?”. Then Alice asked, “Can you show me some magic spells?” At first Asher didn't want to do that but Danny was pleased towards him from his mind and without any choice Asher also started to do just like what Alice said to him.

   And while here Alice was being so happy with Asher, Erica and Dain were in Aradia’s house and recovering from their trauma. “You both are being ok right?” Aradia asks them and with a low voice, Dain answers her. “No I am alright now but I am worrying about Erica. She was in this way even after escaping from that monster. And Dain was recalling everything that happened in that cave. How he was so close to death and at that time how Arago and Aradia attacked the monster and helped them. “We thank you for your help, Witch. But can I ask you one thing? Why did you help us? If you want you and your friends can just let us go from there or let us die but you guys just took us in and helped us to recover. I don't know how things were changed”.

   When he said it, Aradia just laughed a little at him and said, “Don't think that everything was started to change because still most of them hold the grudge and discrimination thoughts in their mind so nothing will change soon here. The reason I helped you guys were because I wanted to… even though you two were at a small age, you guys are having adventures and trying to live in this hell and I don't want any soul to die even before it blooms from the bud. And also I hate for the thing people to hate each other. Just because of that now I am being outcasted by my village”.

   When she said that she was being outcasted by her village Dain doesn't understand and he asked, “I don't know what you are saying?” And Aradia said, “ok, I say one last thing which I found on my research. Do you know that wizards have mana equal to dragons?” And Dain said, “I heard of it but nowadays no one believes it”. And Aradia said, “Yeah, nowadays no one believes it but listen wizards are so powerful equal to the dragons but because of some sort of curse or something all the wizards and witches weren't able to use their mana to the fullest. So I researched about it and did some experiments but people just being themselves holds the generation rules and outcasted me”.
