What Is Love?

Months passed by.I couldn't believe that time was flying by so fast.

I woke up by the call of an unknown number.

"Hello!"

"Lucia,I am Walker." General Walker said from the other side.

"Lucia,I need you to meet me." He said.

"What do you mean meet you? I am in Russia." I replied.

"Yes and so am I.We have come up with a plan to kill Luke Vernon and you have to help us."

I went blank.Luke took care of me so much in the past year that I forgot he was my enemy.

"Wh-what plan?" I asked.

"That's why I need you to meet me."

"Ok." I replied,"Text me the address." I replied before closing the call.I realized it was really late.It was 11:30 and I was still sleeping.

My door opened, followed by a knock.

"Lucia,are you awake?" Luke entered my room.

"Yes." I replied slowly.

"Come down for breakfast." He smiled at me and left.

It was so hard.Despite everything,it was so hard to ignore that smile.It was so hard to kill him.

I don't know if someone else could but I couldn’t.I didn’t have it in me.

But he killed Alex.He killed the love of my life.He destroyed me.Why shouldn't I kill him?

When I have the opportunity,why should I let it go?

The door burst open again.He looked at me through the front door.

I realized I forgot that I had to eat breakfast.

I got off the bed and walked towards him.

I walked behind him when I felt his fingers on mine.

I blushed and looked at him but he didn't look back at me.He was walking straight.He let go of me when we reached the huge dining room.

I sat down and touched the food.I looked at the clock.

It was almost 12.

Luke sat next to me and started to eat his breakfast.

Didn't he have already?Was he waiting for me?

"Luke..." I called him.

"Yes?" He raised his head.

"I need to go out." I said.

"Where do you need to go?" He asked me.His eyes never blinked.

"Just to meet a friend." I whispered.

He nodded and looked at me in disbelief.

After I was done eating,I got dressed and took an attempt to head out.

I turned around to look at Luke.He was sitting on the couch and smoking.

I walked towards him and sat beside him.

He looked at me and put away the cigar.

"Won't you go?" He asked.

"Yes,I will." I smiled at him.I was going to end him.One last kiss before the sweet revenge was worth it.I thought to myself.

I leaned forward and kissed him.He was as unsure as I was but somehow this didn't end here.He pulled me closer and licked my lips with his hot tongue.

I was lost in him again.I forgot my intentions,I forgot my revenge.I wished that our kiss may last forever but unfortunately it was impossible.

When he pushed me on the couch.I was left with no space to retreat.I triggered his passion,now I must deal with it.

He gripped my hair and ran his rekindled fingers through my hair.

He slowly nibbled my skin which caused me to moan but I bit my lips to suppress it.

When his lips touched my neck,I came back to reality.I tried to push him but no avail.He was way stronger than me,he was all around me.

He bit the skin on my neck which electrocuted my spine.

After a long,hot session,he let me go.I immediately got off the couch and walked out of the house.

Was I feeling remorseful?

I shook off my thoughts and went where Walker told me to go.

My heartbeat fastened.It is an year since I last saw him.

I went to a bungalow and rang the door bell.

The door opened,there was General Walker.

"Lucia,my child,how are you?" He asked and invited me in.

"Just breathing." I sighed.

"Sit down and hear me out." He said as he offered me some food to eat.

"You are staying with him for over a year and he trusts you.That's all I need.All you need to do is break his trust.

"What?" I gasped.I don't know but I've never felt much pain in my entire life.Why was I feeling like this? Wasn't it forbidden?

"Do you know what this is?" He asked me and he showed me and small vile like object.

"No." I replied and took it in my hands.

"This is ricin." He said.

"Ricin?" I asked in surprise.

"Yes,ricin." He smirked.

"All you need to do is to mix it in his food." He said.

"Wait,ricin,it is a poison, isn't it?" I asked.

"Yes!" He exclaimed happily.

"Won't I get caught for this?" I asked.

"No you won't.Look, listen to me, it's a big step but it's for Alex." He said as he held my hands.

Alex.For Alex.

"Once the poison starts its effect,he will feel sick and slowly it will lead to death.His autopsy results will say that he died of seasonal flu." He explained.

"Really?" I was surprised.

"Yes, Lucia." He smiled proudly.

"Now,make me proud,child.Make Alex proud." He said.

"I will." I assured him.

I headed out of his house and walked in the empty roads.

Why should I kill him? The answer was simple.It's because he killed Alex.

But why should I kill the man who took care of me so much?He stopped the time if anything happened to me.He made me smile even when he was at his worst.He covered me when the duvet fell off my body.He kissed my scars.He kissed my lips when I needed him the most.He protected me from the entire world.He didn't hesitate to kill a man because of me and I was sure that he wouldn't hesitate to kill a million more just to save me.My happiness mattered to him the most.Even when I let him down,even when I was rude to him.He made sure that he loved me completely.
