I pulled a chair beside Luke's bed and I touched his hands which were cold.
"How long have you been here at the hospital?" He asked.
"Since he was admitted." I said in a low voice.
"Did you sleep properly?" He asked.
"Yes." I replied.
"Don't lie,daughter.I know you were awake the whole time." He said.I didn't reply.
"I think you should rest.I promise Luke will want the same too." He said.
"No, thank you.I will sleep when I feel tired." I replied to him.He seemed slightly disappointed by my answer but did not bother me again.
I placed his hands on the bed gently and closed my eyes."Wake up already." I whispered before my eye lids dropped and I dozed off.

At 9 am,I woke up by a mere movement.I slowly opened my eyes and saw him struggled to talk.I jolted up and sat beside him."Luke...you are fine." I smiled.
He smiled back at me.There were some tubes which were going down his throat and nose.He also had an IV stuck on his right hand.After that he fell asleep again.
I could understand how tired he was.The heavy medicines were making him sleepy.I hoped that he sleeps peacefully.
I also realized that Boris left us alone,when,I don't know but I am just glad that he left.I couldn't bear to offend such people.

The next morning,I woke up feeling a terrible pain in my neck.It was caused because I fell asleep on the chair.
It was almost 4 in the afternoon.I walked and called a doctor to check him up.They said they checked him a while ago and he is improving.
My heart fluttered in happiness.
I came back to the room smilingly just to see Luke woke up.
I ran outside again and called a doctor.
He kept looking at me as the doctor checked him.
He removed the tubes and Luke sighed.
"How are you?" I asked.
"I am fine." He smiled.
"Your father came this morning." I said.
"Did he?" He asked in surprise.
"What did he say?" He asked.
"Nothing much." I replied as I walked back and forth in the room.
"What happened? How did I survive?" He asked.
"Don't worry about that." I replied,not wanting to tell him that I just exposed my dead fiancé's biggest secret.
"Come here." He said.
"What did you do?" He asked.
"Nothing.Forget it.You need rest.Don't think too much.You know what? How about I bring you some food?" I said as I exited the cabin and one of Luke's men entered.I stood outside the door.
"Boss,it was American General Walker who shot you." He said.
"I know.How did I survive?" Luke's voice spoke.
"Miss Lucia gave some informations in exchange for your life." The man said.
"What information? Just say it, goddamn it!" His arrogant voice made me a bit scared.
"She knew that Alex Dempsey's truth.That's what she shared." He said.
I could no longer hear any voices.I ran to the cafeteria to get some food for him.
Numerous thoughts ran through my mind.What the hell did I do?
