Chapter 10: Hysterical Orion set me down in the bathroom from this morning. He did not look pleased but he was not openly angry. I tried to look at him with what I hoped looked like love or lust or some combination. I shut the door. I surprisingly did use the bathroom although there was no urgency. I washed my hands and gazed at my reflection. The bruised cheek was little less swollen than yesterday. The scrape had a scab. I found a sad-looking Orion sitting on the bed. “I told you Perseus was busy. I told you I spoke to him. You would’ve seen Rose eventually,” he said, his anger growing.
