Chapter Nine
"Many strange creatures make the forests and woods of Beaynid their home. Among them is a rather peculiar species of large cat. It is known as Pax. This feline is quite different from the alley cats of Sona Tuath in that it has large wings that can carry the seemingly insignificant weight of the cat easily. An additional unusual feature is the cat's enormous, globe-like eyes, though it does not appear the Pax can see any better than any other cat. Strangely, there seems to be some superstition surrounding this animal. The local folk are quite provincial in their beliefs and have expressed some trepidation about the Pax."
