Chapter Seventeen Teddy stood in the tiny closet she had converted to a darkroom. The red light cast eerie flame-colored shadows throughout the room. She didn't have the luxury of a separate film drying room, so she had to work around the photos hanging on the line above the table that held the solution-filled trays. She agitated the picture swimming in the fixer, and her mind went back to the day at the playground with Lisa. A bright spot in the midst of this nightmare. While she waited for the photograph to develop, she stepped back to let her eyes travel the parade of images.
