LYCANDRA POV.
I’ve been held up in this room for almost a week now. Those also included the day that I was unconscious after my little attempted escape. I haven’t seen Max since he carried me back and I was getting all the more nervous to see him again. I felt fear mostly, but a part of me was a little excited and I also felt agitated to not being able to leave the room. Cassie told me that the wolf he killed that attacked me was one of theirs, but he went against Max’s orders, and you got hurt and that made him flip out. She had a glint in her eye when she told me this and I just rolled my eyes at her. Max didn’t care about me. He just didn’t want anything to happen to me which would compromise his plans to get what he wants. She said that he left a short while after he carried me back
