They Rose In Love

Chapter Four

After around 5 days of their marriage, completing all the rituals, pagphera, reception, MaNan reached Mumbai.

Manik was the adorable-est husband. While travelling in a flight, Nandini was scared. It was her first time. Manik smiled and made her wear the belt while she was all time adoring her husband. He then held her hand and kissed her knucles saying “Abb toh humesha ke liye nahi chorunga (Now would never leave this hand and you)”

Soon, both of them reached Manik’s flat. Yes he lived in a 4BHK as his parents were not here. He called out the servant and asked them to leave the flat after taking the luggage inside.

He gave her the key while she twisted her eyebrows asking “Kya (What) ?”

“Aap kho liye..Abb se aapke havaale hai yeh chaabiyaa. (You open the lock!! The keys belong to you!! Both of my heart and our home) “ He caressed her hairs while she started sobbing.

“Are are..Aapko kholna nahi aata (Hey hey! Don’t you know how to open it)?” He asked giggling.

“Manik” She hit him lightly and said “Aajtak itnaa pyaar nahi mila (I never got this much of love before!)”

He smiled and hugged her “Aajse...Puraa pyaar tumhara (From today, all the love belongs to you!) “

She smiled and both of them opened the gate to the heaven.

She palmed her mouth seeing the beautiful architectured house near her.

“Yeh kitnaa accha hai (This is so so beautiful!!) “ She said and looked at him.

He backhugged her and said “Accha laga sunke (Glad!) “

“Chalo..Aur sab bhi dekh lete hai (Let’s see the rest of the house too)” He said and pulled her towards the kitchen making her smile.

“Aur yeh humara chota sa kamra (And this, our little bedroom!) “ He said and kissed her cheeks while she whole heartedly adored the room along with their wedding picture which was hung on the wall just above the bedrest. And the most beautiful part was the balcony just near it which showed the sea. She caressed the balcony railings and inhaled the oceanic air while Manik smiled and stood beside her.

“Aapko parhne ka bohot shauk hai (You really like reading, don’t you) ?” Manik said as they walked towards his study. She looked at him with wide eyes and asked “Aapko kisne bataya (who told you) “ He smiled and said “Megha”

He then along with her went towards a small corner of the study room where there was a beautiful library with hindi and English books.

“Ji..A..aisi..Koi..baa..baat nahi hai..Parhnnaa (It’s Nothing like that!! Actually.. Reading) “ She said stammeringly as study was prohibited in her village for women.

“Aap abhi Mumbai me hai..Aapka haq banta hai mujhe batana ki aapko kya pasand hai kya nahi (You are now in Mumbai, my love! You hold all the rights to tell me what you like and what you dislike!) “ He said and pulled her closer.

“Ji haa pasand hai (Yes, I love reading!)” She accepted the fact and said “Dactar (Doctor) banna hai (I want to be a doctor)”

He smiled and caressed her hairs and said “Dokter (Doctor)” She looked at him and repeated smilingly “Dacter (Doctor). He smiled and said “Aha..Doc/ter” She smiled and repeated “Doctor”

She giggled and hugged him while he smiled and said “Hum banayenge aapko doctor..1 haftein baad hum office jana shuru karenge..Aapko bhi hum 11-12 ke liye admission karwadengee (I will make you a doctor!! After a week, I will resume going to office!! I will also get you admitted in a school for your plus two) “

Nandini smiled and said “Ophis (Office) Kaha hai aapka (Where is your office) ?” Manik again giggled and said “O/ff/iss” Nandini giggled and replied “Offiss” Manik smiled and kissed her forehead.

“Aaj raat ko ek party hai..Aap tayyar rehna..(There's a party tonight! Be ready) " He said and went away to their room.

Nandini smiled and caressed her sindoor "Meghu sahi kehti hai..Humare beech angrezi nahi pyaar ki bhaasha hai (Meghu was right! We have the language of love bet ween us, not English!) " She said and blushed.
