Chapter 3 The Screaming Woods Greg stirred the pot for the last time, deciding it was done. He looked up at Sean and said, “Are you…” The question died on Greg’s lips when he saw Sean staring at him in a strange way. The look in his eyes was astute, aware, even a little cunning, and it told Greg that his suspicions were correct—Sean was on the make—but for what? Was it for money, position, or power? It made him wonder how far he could trust Sean with what he had to tell him, and what he would do with it once he knew the truth. It would make him vulnerable to Sean, which realization almost made him change his mind. He’d known from the beginning that Sean had a dark side that made Greg a little unsettled.
