Strange Transmissions
In the world of shock radio, the name Howard Stern is synonymous with God. Even in the backwaters of the Lewiston/Clarkston Valley, where Rush Limbaugh and Michael Savage are considered prophets, many of us have heard of New York City’s King of all Media, but until the summer of 2006, I had never actually heard him.
I’m not a fan of my local radio stations, but there was one show on a Spokane, Washington station that I liked. The Don and Mike Show, though sometimes a little too political for me at that time, was hugely entertaining.
