EVANDER I howled in pain as Amara pressed the damp towel on my wound, my cousin’s fangs causing great damage. I could shift and be healed, but I didn’t feel like putting my wolf through it when he had also taken a big beat down.  I wanted him to rest.  “You are an arse, did you know that?” Amara stated, her eyes not meeting mine. I grabbed her chin, roughly without meaning it and made her look straight into my eyes. Hers were full of unshed tears, but they were still beautiful and bright.  No matter what situation she found herself in, they looked lively.  “I know that, beautiful.
