EZRA Feeling cold as soon as Violet moved away from me, I growled in annoyance at the unwelcome interruption. I just needed to have her in my arms a while longer, but Amara had to come in and ruin it for us.  Couldn’t she just stay away? As if reading my thoughts, she smiled. “I know what you’re thinking, Ezra. But let me remind you, that this is my home and I don’t have to ask permission to come in. No matter how hot and heavy you two are.” Amara chuckled at her own comment as Violet stood in front of the fireplace, her back facing us, but by the way she shook her shoulders, I knew she was laughing as well.  “Besides, I brought company. I found them at the pack borders.” She added.  I was so upset, I didn’t notice my best friend standing next to her, a smug expression on his face.
