AMARA
My home had been destroyed. All I worked so hard for was just… gone.
I saw red as I looked at the flames die slowly, leaving nothing but the remainders of what it once was. Sitting on the ground for what seemed like forever, I saw the sun rise in the horizon, my anger seeping in.
“Amara, it’s time to go. Let’s go to the village and find somewhere you can stay,” Violet suggested, but I wasn’t paying much attention. I wasn’t sure how I looked at her; her eyes went wide open as she backed away from me.
“Amara, no. Calm down, you need to control your witch,” She whispered as I realized I was turning into the evil side of me I wanted for so long to keep inside. Only Ezra knew about her and how to help control her.
