Chapter 9

The brightness woke me up from my sleep. I opened my eyes and found my head was resting in Ethan chest. Ethan arm wrapped me close. I enjoyed the moment and drew a circle on his chest.

Suddenly I heard someone cleared her throat and found Linda's smirking face looking at us.

' Nice move virgin' Linda muted her mouth. s**t! 

I glared at her and tried to remove Ethan arms slowly.

' It's not what you think' I replied her muted mouth once I stood up freely. 

" Morning babe.." Ethan woke up and sat in his bed. He looked at me and Linda. 

" Morning Ethan." I  said, trying to acted normal. 

" Morning Ethan ." Linda greeted him. 

" Morning Linda. " 

" Sorry to disturb you this morning, but I want to tell your wife about her medical check up today." she said.

" How is she?" he asked Linda about my condition.  

" If her medical check up result good, she can go home soon. " Linda said to him. 

" That's good. " he said." I'll ask my doctor if I could go home with her" he said. 

" Good idea Ethan. I'll let you know as soon the result out." she said. 

" OK, I leave you two. I'll come back again in an hour for Emilia's medical check up. " Linda said

“ OK Linda, Thank you. “ Ethan said.

Linda turned around to walked out of the room and passed me. 

' Behave' Linda muted mouth me and winked.

I gave her a pout. What a douchbag!

The hospital staff brought our breakfast right after Linda left. 

" I’ll go clean up first." I told Ethan after the hospital staff left the room. I needed to do my morning things first before breakfast. 

" Go ahead babe." he said. 

I walked to the en-suit and took a shower. I felt fresh and ready for my act today. Ethan took a shower after me while I prepared our food on the table and waited for him to finished his shower. He took some time until he walked out of the bathroom. 

I looked at him when he walked out the bathroom with his towel wrapped his waist. My eyes stared at his strong and well build muscle. 

" Have you done with the staring?" Ethan teased me, caught me staring at his body. 

I looked away as I felt my face warm and blushed to red. 

Ethan chuckled and walked to the wardrobe to take his clothes. He seemed hard to find something. 

" Do you need help? What are you looking for?" I  asked him as I watched him shuffling his pile of clothes. 

" I can't find my underwear" he said

I walked toward him to help him find his underware.

I took one by one his clothes on the wardrobe and put them in his bed. I found his boxer and picked it up. 

" Here you go." I said and gave him his boxer. 

He stepped forward and grabbed my hand, instead of taking his boxer. He pulled me closed. 

" How about taking our usual morning first?" Ethan whisperef in my ear, making my ear felt warm. 

" Ethan... I... I think we should have breakfast, its getting cold. "I said nervously.

Ethan grinned at me and took the boxer. He looked at my eyes, and started to took of his towel in front of me.

Oh God he is naked! He showed me his big shaft. Damn, it look awesome! 

I felt my face turned to red again. My body was stiffed. I tried to looked down, but my eyes kept looking back to the unmissable view provided in front of me. 

After put his boxer on, he stepped forward. 

" Satisfied with the view?" he asked, whispering in my ear. 

I gulped down my saliva. I felt so hot. 

He chuckled at me, and then put on his pajama. 

" Come on, let's have our breakfast, before you passed out" he said, chuckling and grabbing my hand. 

" I know you still need some rest." he winked at me and I looked down. 

He sat me on the couch, and we started to eat. I kept my self quite during our breakfast. Realized that he was just flirting with me. 

Ethan doctor came in when we were still eating. He told Ethan that he also had a medical check up today.

Ethan and I just finished our medical check up and both of us rest in our room afterward. I read a book that Linda gave me. It was a funny stories book.

Ethan was checking on his email. The doctor had gave him approval for using electronic devise this noon for a short of times.

He suddenly moved and layed his back in my headboard. 

" What did you read?" he asked me. 

I showed him the book's cover and let him read. 

" 50 funny stories? " he read the the cover. 

" Yup." I said smiling. 

" Is it really funny?" He asked me

" Some of them,", I said, "Linda gave it. She said to make me relax and not to overthinking. "

" Did you know what so funny?" he asked me. 

" What?" I asked, turning my face to him

" Your face." he said

" My face is funny?" I asked him.

Did he notice something different? My thought was getting worried. 

" It's funny and interesting as well when you get blushed.... Like this morning. " he said grinning.

I remembered what happen this morning, and I was so sure he made my face red again. And he laughed. 

" Ethan, why are you teasing me?" I protested him. 

" Don't be grumpy love. I did that because I missed you so much" he said. 

He held my chin and turned my face to his, and then he moved forward.

Is he going to kiss me?

He moved closer and my heart beat faster. His lip was just an inch from mine, and I closed my eyes

" Emilia? " a female voice called me from the door. 

We both looked at the door.

I looked at a woman in front of our room door. She looked surprised.

I remembered her face. She was Emilia's friend. Her name.... Gosh, I forget her name. so much things to memorized.

" Cherry?" Ethan said her name. 

Cherry Evans! That's her name, I just remember. 

She walked into the room and stared at me like a stabbing knife, made me confuse. 

" Sorry, I just came to visit you guys." she said

How can she even get in here? I thought Mr. Mason told me it supposed to be sterile. No one could come except family and the doctors. 

She came and hugged me and Ethan. 

" How are you Emilia? Ethan?" she said.

She was glancing her eyes on Ethan.

Is she trying to flirt Ethan? 

" We are getting better Cherry. " I told her. 

I paid attention on Ethan face, he just acted naturally. 

" How do you know we are here?" I asked her

" I worry about you, and I try to find out where you are." she explained.

She didn't tell us where she got the info. She moved and stood on Ethan side of the bed. 

" I'm glad you two are fine. I hear some rumors... But now I'm glad that it's not true. " she said

" What rumors? " Ethan asked her. 

" You know... That you both are gone" she said, "Especially Emilia. " she looked at me wickely

What was that? I thought she was Emilia's friend. There was something wrong with her, and she talked to much. 

" Never mind it. It just rumors. We are just fine. Right honey? " I said, asking to Ethan. 

I leaned my head on Ethan's chest as I hugged him. I wanted to distract him from the news and not asking any further. 

Ethan put her ams around me as he reacted on my move. 

" Yeah, we are just fine cherry." he said. 

Cherry turned her face to other direction. I saw disappointment in cherry's eyes. I was sure she was jealous of me. 

" Will you both be out soon?" she asked after a while 

" We hope so. We just got our medical check up today." Ethan said, looked at me and kissed my temple. 

And cherry looked uncomfortable. She was defenitely jealous. I think she had crush on Ethan which was strange, because Ethan was her best friend's husband.

Did Emilia know about this before? 

" I'm sorry miss, I think they need to rest." Linda said at a sudden as she stood beside Cherry and held on Cherry's shoulder. 

" It's fine, I just stop by." cherry said, " I'm glad you are fine. I'll better get going" 

" Thank you Cherry." I said to her as I hugged her. 

She hugged me and Ethan, and then left the room. 

Linda stared at me with the look. I shrugged at her. I really didn’t know how she coul be in the room. 

" Mr Grant...can I talk to you in private? " Linda turned to Ethan. 

" Sure. " he said. 

" I'll be back soon baby" Ethan told me and kissed my temple. 

" Okey" I said. 

And then they left the room to Linda's office.
