Julia’s POV
Rowan was excited when we went downstairs for lunch, as all of his favorites were available. Macaroni and cheese, hot dogs, peas and carrots, and pineapple! Thankfully there were more grown up options available as well. Garlic and herb roasted chicken and green salad made it onto my plate along with a heaping helping of the macaroni and cheese.
Unfortunately I was still feeling quite hungry. But then the servers started to bring out desserts. I couldn’t make my mind up between the peanut butter mousse cake, or banana pudding. So I had to try both!
But seriously, why am I so hungry today? And I still have not heard a peep out of amethyst since last night. I’ve become quite concerned about both of these issues, although I’m trying to act as if nothing is wrong.
