Chapter 15

Marcus’ pov

I was really excited when I got the call to say that Lilith was in labour, I adored all of my nieces and nephew’s and couldn’t wait to meet my newest ones. I was also excited and nervous as I would finally see Regina again.

The second we went through the portal, I went nuts, I could smell Regina’s scent, but it was stronger and even more enticing than it had ever been. I made my way straight to the room, ready to barge right in there and finally claim her.

Dad and Hades were too quick, though, as they caught me and dragged me away, kicking and screaming. It was not my finest moment, but I was desperate. My whole being needed to be next to her and to claim her as mine.

When they got me into the waiting room, Mum and Cassie basically pinned me with their magic until I calmed down. I wasn’t happy, but I knew they wouldn’t speak or let me up until I did calm down, so I forced myself to use my meditation techniques until I felt almost normal again.

“Trust me there are some things you don’t want to see son, and your sister pushing out a human with everything on display is one of them” dad said as Hades and Alaric chuckled, I shivered at the thought.

“Lilith needs her right now, you know how close those two are, and you will have her forever, you can wait a little longer, she will be in your arms soon" Cassie says softly, I know she is right, if Lilith needs her I can wait a little longer.

“I know, but it was like something took over me, and I was desperate to get to her. You know how long I have wanted this” I say apologetically.

“So it is definitely Regina?” Mum asks excitedly. She already thinks of her as a daughter, I think she was just as hopeful as me that she would be my beloved.

“Yes I am sure the scent was her, but better, it’s like it had a new irresistible addition to it” I say, smiling.

“Oh she will finally be my daughter officially” she squeals excitedly, making my dad smile at her as if she has hung the moon.

“Why is evyone so exited? Is it for the babies?” Little Alec asked curiously in his adorable little voice.

“Yes we are excited about that, and I also found my beloved. Do you know what that is?” I ask him as I crouch down on the ground so I am at his level.

“Like mummy and daddy, they love each other. Will you have babies too? Who is she?” He asks, making me chuckle, kids are so curious and have no filter whatsoever.

“Yes just like that, and one day we will give you more cousins like Auntie Lilith is. Do you remember seeing pictures of Auntie Regina?” I ask him.

“The pretty lady with fire hair, Re Re Ginny” he says, trying to say her name.

“It’s OK you can call her auntie Ginny, but only you” I say winking at him as he tries to copy me and just keeps on blinking as he screw his face up, he is just too adorable.

“I like Ginny better” he whispers as if we have a special secret between us.

“Me too, and I am the only one who calls her this” I whisper back.

“So I’m pecial too cause I can too?” He says

“Yes we are both special” I say back to him.

He is a breath of fresh air, and he does an amazing job of keeping me occupied, so I am not pacing or looking at the clock the whole time. The time does seem to go by incredibly slowly, and I am sure I would have gone crazy without the little guy here.

Finally, the smell starts to get stronger, and I jump to my feet as Ginny walks into the room and tells us that the twins are here. Before I get to go to her, the little tyke beats me to it, demanding her attention for himself.

“Auntie Ginny, pretty auntie Ginny” he cries out as she smiles at him adoringly, I wish she would do that to me right now.

“Well you must be Alec, I have heard all about you and seen loads of pictures” she says, picking him up and making him smile.

“I like your hair, pretty auntie” he says, making her smile more. The kid is only two, and he is trying to take her from me, I think, amused.

“Why thank you, you are them most adorable kid in the world” she says, making him beam and snuggle into her more.

He then insists she see Angel as she hasn’t met her yet, and Ariadne and Aliander, or Ari, and Ali as Alec calls them, as he says we can’t leave them out, they should get an auntie cuddle too. Cassie finally manages to get him to leave to see the twins after that.

“I get to keep you now” Mum says, hugging her.

“She is just a bit excited that you will be officially our daughter, although as far as we are concerned, you always were” dad says, kissing her on the head.

“Finally we are alone” I say, holding her in my arms as the tingles go all over my body. It feels amazing.

How are you doing, baby?” I ask her, checking her all over to make sure she is fine.

“Much better now, especially knowing you are mine. I am sorry I made you wait so long to find out” she says sadly.

“I would wait for you for years, I have always loved you, Ginny. You needed the time, Lilith explained it to me, and I am glad that you are feeling better. I will do anything you need me to do to finish healing” I tell her, and she kisses me.

None of us have a clue about what we are doing, but it seems to all come naturally. It is amazing, and she tastes divine. August is a complete moron for letting this treasure go, but I am happy he did as it means that I can be with her, I would never give her up or hurt her like he did.

“Sh.it how am I supposed to see my family and meet my nephew and niece after that?” I say, trying to adjust my uncomfortably large erection.

“Lilith said she would see you tomorrow and told me to have fun. I think she would give us cr.ap if we tried to go in right now” she says with a blush.

“Sounds like her, well I can't say no to the new mum, can I” I reply before she grabs my hand and drags me off in the direction of the castle.

I can tell straight away this is her room as it is drenched in her sweet scent. It is also decorated just like her rooms back home. Lilith had told me Ezekiel had made a permanent room for her here. I didn’t used to like the guy, but he has managed to win me around.

He loves my sister, is great with the kids, and has helped make the love of my life feel at home here. I was a bit jealous when I heard how close they had gotten, but I realised it is a purely brother and sister bond they have. Even their beasts feel the same.

Now I am just happy that she got to feel what it is like to have a real big brother, as Julius is a complete pri.ck. Oh, he regrets it all now, but it is too late for that. We all tried to tell him, but he just didn’t listen as he was closest to Sophia.

Also, his dad favoured her, and he was just a little clone of him without an original thought of his own. I’m sorry, but if dad started to be a di.ck to Cassie or Lilith, it would be him, I would not be talking to, not my sisters.

Just because one person acts badly to another doesn’t mean the rest have to follow blindly. At least get all sides of a story before you right someone off. At the end of the day, hindsight is 20/20, and people always regret the things they do without thinking in the end.

I am tempted to ask Ginny how things have been and how she is coping now with things. I am also curious about how she feels about certain family members. I just want to know so I can support her in any way possible, but all questions go out of my mind when she drops her dress on the floor and stands in front of me in her underwear, fu.ck she is even more stunning than what I imagined.
