Chapter 4

1055 Words
Right now, I couldn't concentrate with the work in my office, so many contract to review and sign, meetings to attend and calls to make. Last night was a long night for me, I couldn't sleep knowing there was a woman sleeping on my bed. I twisted and turned on the bed, trying to find a comfortable position but I just couldn't sleep, until I felt a hand embracing me from behind. She must be a cuddlier, I thought to myself as she positioned her head at the crook of my neck and comfortably hugged me. Her even breathing fanning my nape, making my hair stand up. I slowly turned to face her, carefully not to wake her and then hugged her as well. Her body was so smooth and soft, very fragile and delicate. I felt somehow aroused being in an intimate position with her. My long cold shower did nothing to hide my erection, maybe being in a long time celibacy also added fuel on it. My God, seeing her wearing my shirt was already a turn on, what more on that state? I was snapped out of my thoughts hearing a door knock "Come in..." I said knowing it was Martina and Farrah that but to my surprise it turned out to be Olivia. "What are you doing here?" I sounded rude asking her this, but who cared? I don't want her presence in my place. "Is that how you greet your long love ex-girlfriend? You're so cold, where was the Bradley that I use to love before?" She asked innocently, as she glided her way towards me and sat at the chair next to my desk, slightly biting her lower lips to look seductive. "He's gone already so you better forget him as well. Instead of fooling yourself, go and search someone else because you know it very well, that he'll never treat you like the old days again. It's not going to happen." I answered bitterly. "Oh sweetie you're the one fooling yourself here. Well, we both know that you're still in love with me, and that you can't move on. You didn't even go into a relationship since we broke up." She said feeling confident that she had won pointing this out. "Oh really?" I asked rhetorically, raising an eyebrow. "Well for you to know, I don't need to show the whole world that I've moved on a long time ago. You know me well enough, when it comes to a relationship I keep it to myself because I don't like anyone invading my privacy, especially my love life." I said, glaring at her. "Sir, your fiancée is heading towards your office." said Steve, my chauffeur. "Thanks, Steve!" I said through the intercom. Olivia's face morphed into pure shock after what she heard and she arched her eyebrow. Maybe never in her life, she had thought I would go to a serious relationship, to tie myself and build my own family but here I was having a fiancée. I broke up with her and I think that was the right decision. She had cheated on me with my own cousin because of the security she was longing, my name, and a marriage which I never saw with her. She's way beyond wife material, always running after my money and popularity. I am happy to have realized that before I could fall into her trap. "Excuse me, any minute now my fiancée will be here. I don't think she would like seeing you here, and I don’t want her to think anything wrong about me. So it’s better for you to leave, right now."  "Sorry sweetie but I'm not leaving anytime soon. My father wasn't able to come for the meeting today so I'll be his representative." She said in her sickly sweet voice, smirking slightly. "Dammit!" I muttered through gritted teeth. I closed my eyes and took deep breaths, trying my best to control my anger. Suddenly the door burst open without any warning and my eyes fluttered open to see a gorgeous lady, wearing white, long sleeved blouse which was slightly rolled on her elbow, tucked in a skinny jeans, paired with black boots. Her chocolate wavy hair was swaying as she walked right to my side. "Sorry, can I use your restroom?!" She hurriedly asked, not even noticing Olivia who was seated in front of my desk. "Sure, this way. Is there something wrong?" I asked her. I could see she was hesitating to tell me the situation she's been dealing with. "Ohm, you know the girl thing?!" She finally blurted out. I couldn't control myself on giving her a grin. You could see the blush on her face, totally embarrassed in admitting that she was having the time of the month. "Love, you're so adorable when you blush." I couldn't help but voice out. She ignored and rushed into the restroom, to do her "thing". Olivia suddenly rose from her seat and went straight to the door, but before exiting she spat at me. "Looks like you have got a new toy now, and that poor little girl doesn't even know what she has gotten for herself. I know as soon as you're done with her you'll dump her too." and then she left. Minutes after, Farrah came out of the restroom. "I'm sorry for not knocking before entering into your cabin." was the first thing she said. “It’s ok love, you can barge in anytime you want. It's not like I'm hiding something from you." I said to ease her guilty feeling. I stood up and walked closer to her. Holding her hands in mine, I fished out a small box from my pocket, and revealed an heirloom ring from my great grandmother. “Love we will be getting married before this year end and you need to wear this so that everyone will know, you're mine only." I said looking straight into her eyes. Confusion, shock and disbelief, that is what her face showed when I said her those words. Without waiting anymore, I slipped the ring onto her finger, making her all mine to care, to love and to protect. It wasn't like I was asking her anyway. She would surely be my bride, my wife.
