I wheeled myself to the kitchen and as soon as Jeff saw me, he froze in place as his eyes traveled down my body.
“You look beautiful, just....Wow.”
I blushed at the comment, looking at my dress as I smoothed it out. He approached me, leaning over to hold my hand and kiss my knuckles. After staring at each other for a while, we heard Dad clear his throat, hinting at us it was time to leave.
We laughed and said our goodbyes before we left.
“Where are we going?” I asked, curiously. I was excited and nervous at the same time. He looked handsome in his suit, his hair combed back, making him look elegant.
“It’s a surprise, you’ll love it,” he replied with a huge smile on his face. When he finally helped me in his truck, he quickly covered my eyes with a blindfold.
