This Is Jared...

Prior to the day where Jerry decided to ruin Jayvee's life in front of their whole family, Hayley already started to gather evidence of Jayvee being an abusive husband to his wife and son. Every time that Rosie would visit their house, she would secretly take pictures of all the bruises in her body or face.

Then she also asked their trusted P.I to investigate Jayvee and fortunately, he was caught in a bar with his wanted criminal brother and he recorded their entire conversation. It would be bad evidence but it is enough to make Jayvee more mad as they let him hear it and he couldn't do anything.

Jayvee's career started to reach its downfall after the news broke out on the internet after the night. Some loyal fans still defend him and says that Jerry was just being an asshole and jealous, but the majority of his fans are mad and started canceling him, boycotting his albums and all, even his company is planning to fire him and buy out his contract.

In just one night after Jerry kicked him out of the Kim Group and revealed his true identity, Jayvee is now facing humiliation for what he did to his family.

Of course, Rosie was worried because she knew that her name would get dragged into this issue and she doesn't want his son to be involved as well. She kept calling Liam and Hayley's phone but none of them answered.

She was pacing back and forth in their small living room while Akiro was in the apartment next door as she asked the babysitter to take him in for the meantime.

"Why is no one answering my call?!" She groaned frustratedly and tried to call Liam for the umpteenth time, but still no response. She raked her fingers to her hair aggressively and grabbed her car key before knocking on the next door.

The teenage single mom opened the door and even if she didn't say anything, Rosie already knows what's the reason for those worried eyes.

"I'm sorry to bother you but can I leave Akiro with you for tonight? I needed to go somewhere."

"It's okay, don't worry. He's already asleep."

"Thank you so much and please, don't worry about me, I'm fine."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes, I need to leave. I promise, I'll double the pay tomorrow." Rosie said, pulling the girl for a hug and leaving the apartment building.

She drove as fast as she could to Liam's house and since no one is answering her calls, she knows that they are already expecting for her to arrive.

After one hour, she finally arrived in front of the Manoban's house, she honked the horn and the guard opened the gate for her, greeting her but she was too occupied and mad that she didn't have the chance to greet him back and pulled her car into the driveway.

And as she was expecting, her best friend, Hayley, Seul-ki and Juhyun are all in the wide Livin room, sitting in silence as they waited for her.

"What the hell was that?!" She shouted as soon as she saw them. "Where is he?!"

"He's still dealing with all the problems he caused, of course." Liam scoffed, not even showing a bit of fear to Rosie.

"I think she's asking about Jerry, not Jayvee." Seul-ki said and as if on cue, Jerry arrived, entering the Manoban's house like he did nothing.

"You're looking for me?" Jerry made his way to the couch and sat down, he leaned back and looked up to Rosie, meeting her furious hazelnut brown eyes.

"Why did you do that?!" Rosie asked her first question.

"Why not?" Jerry asked back with a shrug. "I just put him in his place."

"By telling everyone what he did to me?! Didn't I make myself clear that I don't need your help?! I don't need anyone's help!"

"Whoa, calm down, I didn't do it for you, Rosie." Jerry said and that made Rosie confused for a bit. "He was carrying the Royal family's name and—."

"And so? If he's an asshole to me, what does it have to do with you and you're oh-so powerful name?!"

"People will find out soon what he did to his family and there's a chance that it will backfire to us and people would assume that we're tolerating his behaviour and I'm not going to let that happen."

"You are an asshole." Rosie said with full bitterness in her voice. "This will be the last time you'll intervene in my life because I don't want to see your face ever again!" She yelled before turning around hastily and walked out.

"Are you for real?" Liam asked Jerry incredulously before running after his best friend.

"Why did you say that to her?" Hayley said and slapped Jerry's hand.

"Because I know that she would think that I did that for her, half of it is yes and the other half is because of what I said." Jerry shrugged his shoulders.

"But seriously, I'm glad that Jayvee already got what he deserves for hurting Rosie, but the consequence of your action is that she got mad at you." Juhyun sighed deeply and shook her head. She couldn't blame Rosie for getting mad because Jerry didn't really have to do what he did, but of course, they won't let Jayvee get away for all his bad behaviour towards their friend.

"I'm sorry to ask this but since I'm not really belong to a royal family, I don't know what will happen to Jayvee after you kicked him out and what does your grandpa say to all of this?" Seul-ki asked curiously.

"He would get nothing from the Kim Group, he will stay a Kim but the group does no longer business with him. His parents denied that they have an idea about the issue but still, the board members will going to have a meeting about it and about my grandpa.." Jerry paused, then he looked at Hayley smiling proudly. "He was aware of what's going to happen because Hayley already told him everything."

"Gosh, your family is really scary." Juhyun let out a shaky breath and looked at Jerry and Hayley. "I have known Liam's family for so long and I could tell that they are strict and scary if I must say, but I didn't know that Kims are the same with Manobans."

"That's how the Royal family is." Hayley chuckled. She took the folder next to her and put it on the table, opening it and showing them every picture that their P.I gathered. "This is Jared, Jayvee's brother, he was last seen at the bar with Jayvee."

"What's the catch about him?" Seul-ki asked curiously, scanning every photo.

"He tried to kill me after he failed to kidnap Hayley." Jerry answered and the couple looked at him in shock. "And now that his brother is in trouble, I know that he will do something against me or worse, to any of you so you guys better be careful about him."

"Why can he go around freely if he's a wanted criminal?" Juhyun couldn't hide the fear in her, especially from his son Seju.

"He's slick, he's hard to catch and I know that someone is trying to cover him up so we're having difficulty catching him."

"Do you have any idea who's helping him?" Seul-ki stopped at the one picture and he put it closer to his face as he was trying to recognize Jared's face and the woman standing behind him.

"Probably his parents, but it's hard to accuse since we don't have any evidence." Jerry said, waiting for Seul-ki to say something since the latter was too serious while looking at the picture intently.

"Do you know this woman?" Seul-ki pointed at the certain woman who was accidentally captured behind Jared.

Hayley and Jerry looked at it closely and then they exchanged glances before turning to Seul-ki. "This is Jayvee and Jared's half sister."

"Half sister?" The couple asked in unison.

"Yeah, their father has a first family before them and that was their half sister." Jerry pointed at the woman.

"So that answers your question of who might be helping Jared." Seul-ki smugly said as if he just solved a big case.

"You're right." Jerry chuckled and he fished out his phone from his pocket and as he was about to call his secretary, which is the secretary of the former chairman, his phone lit up and Liam's phone registered on the screen. "Your husband is calling me." He told Hayley.

"Answer it."

"I don't want to, he might just be going to curse me for saying those words to Rosie." Jerry refused to answer the call and let his phone ring nonstop.

"Answer it, Jerry!" Hayley scowled at him, hitting his shoulder.

"Fine, but if he curses me, I'll hang up on him." Jerry sneered and he slid up the answer button. "What?" He asked coldly.

"Akiro got kidnapped! We're on our way to Rosie's house, please get here and don't call the cops!" Liam said and that made Jerry's blood run out of his body while his eyes fixed on Jared's picture.
