Tanya
I took a deep breath as we walked to the gardens the Empress loved so much. I knew that Isaac is keeping an eye on me. Whenever he had some free time he followed around, trying to be secretive and sending gifts. Dina in the disguise of maid Diana leaned closer as I took a seat at the small, white table near the exquisitely crafted fountain. Dancers moved around with the play of tye water and the gold details almost blinded me in the sunlight.
- Isaac is here again. - Dina whispered.
- Good. - I said taking a sip of my tea.
- Dina, I need you to leave us alone now. - she shook her head gently and frowned. Even with a different appearance I could see the scolding glance of my sister.
- No way!
- Please... - I said and she sighed.
- Kill him if he tries anything. - she said seriously and bowed before leaving me alone. I heard his heavy footsteps approaching. His cold hands touched my bare shoulders and Isaac leaned closer to my ear whispering.
- Are you all alone, Lady Rankin? - I glanced over my shoulder lingering my gaze for a second on his hand.
- Not anymore. Please, take a seat if you have time, Isaac. - I said seductively and he cleared his throat as he took the seat in front of me.
- How is your mother doing? I'm so worried about her. - I said and Isaac smiled kindly. "Such a waste of this handsome appearance..."
- She is stable, but her condition didn't change. Unfortunately, not even our best doctors or magicians know what happened to her. - I sighed and stared into the distance.
- If only my adoptive mother would be still alive, she had an immense knowledge of medicinal herbs. Or my little sister, of she was here with us, maybe she could save the Empress. - Isaac's eyes widened.
- Lady Rankin, are you insisting that witches should examine my mother's condition? - I stood up abruptly and hit the tabe, spilling the tea out.
- Prince Isaac! I thought you were different! Yet you are still insisting that the rumors about my family are true!
- Not at all Lady Rankin! - he said standing up and trying to take a step towards me. I took a step back and crossed my arms in front of my chest, making sure that the dress reveals a bit more than it should, pushing my boobs up. Sorry Dina! I apologized mentally for exposing my sister's body this way, even if it was just a copy of hers.
- It sounded exactly like that! I'm here, trying to help the Empress while I was dragged here like a criminal, despite being innocent and had to witness my mother's death! - I grabbed the skirt of the dress and skipped the distance between Isaac and myself. I grabbed his sword and his expression darkened until all blood left his face when I put the sword to my neck. With tears in my eyes I shouted.
- If you are so suspicious of me, kill me Prince! - Isaac took the sword from my hand and threw it away. He grabbed my shoulders and shook me gently.
- What the hell are you doing!? That's dangerous! You could've hurt yourself! - I cried looking as pitiful as I could, while I looked deeply into his eyes.
- No one would care! My sister is lost somewhere! Only God know if she is even alive!? My adoptive mother died in my arms and my father in on the battlefield! Maybe he'll never return! I'm all alone, worthlessly waiting for my judgment day...
- That's not true! What could I do to make you believe me? - Isaac asked.
- Allow me to help you and tp prove my worth.
- Fine. But we must keep this a secret. - I smiled and took one step closer. Our bodies touched, I kicked one of the heels off and caressed Isaac's ankle with my bare foot.
- This will be our little secret... - I whispered. Isaac swallowed hardly and got flustered. I giggled, and asked while I kept caressing his leg with my foot.
- Do I make you nervous, Isaac? - his eyes met mine and he grinned.
- A little. - I blushed.
- If, I'm being honest, you make me nervous too. - I stepped away and he kneeled. Isaac lifted my heels and slipped my foot back into the shoe, before giving a tiny kiss on top of my foot. I grabbed his shoulders and pulled him up.
- Stand up! What if someone sees you? They'll gossip about me being a witch as well! That I enchanted you! - I said and his expression darkened.
- I'd never allow that to happen. Meet me this afternoon in my study, I'll prepare the documents you could help with. - I bowed and he left. Once Isaac was nowhere to be found Dina marched to my side swinging a spoon in the air.
- I'll scoop his eyes out! How dares he! That filthy bastard! - I covered her mouth.
- Chill Sissy! - she calmed.
- Disgusting... I have to thank you for turning into me while he is flirty... I might've murdered him already. - I laughed at her fiery sincerity.
- Better if you practice your poker face, because this afternoon, you must f**k up some legal documents! - Dina groaned with frustration.
- Fine... Let's get this s**t going.
