He can’t be serious with his feeble excuses, expecting me to accept that he is scared of Selena, or Pearl or whoever she is now! What he did was despicable! But we have a more pressing matter at hand at the moment. There is a human in our diner we weren’t prepared for thanks to him.
Magnus “Didn’t Lucille let you know?”
Charlie “Know what?”
He rolls his eyes.
Magnus “I sent her a messenger this morning that I would be coming into town with Andre for the tour of the shop and to look at some of the houses.”
