THE PREVIOUS NIGHT
Leonardo got off the phone call. It took him a while but he finally decided on what to do.
“Everything is in place”, he said to Rob.
“Okay, Don. What is your next line of action”, Rob asked.
Leonardo stiffened.
He hadn’t really thought that part through. Or he did but was deciding against it. There was no way he was letting her stay there but he also couldn’t be violent.
He smacked his forehead. They were finally making progress but he ruined it. At this point, he considered letting her go because he didn’t deserve her but he knew he couldn’t live without her by his side.
“Don, we have to know the next step”, Rob said.
