beginning of the end

high cold

It's been an hour driving and I can't stop thinking about why the horde was there and did suga bring them to Chicago. I look at kay to see he's asleep.

I just noticed that he has a cut on his lip and one on his head . Poor boy must have been through a lot . Yet he sleeps like there's nothing wrong with the world. I wish I could be like that, not a care in the world .

I looked back at the road to see where the house I live at now . It has a big electric fence ,with my old house boarded up windows and doors,a big green house . It has been two years since the world ended.i have been alone for two years .

So when kay came along I couldn't believe it. I park up the car and wake kay up but he wouldn't move . His forehead was burning up and he was taking deep breaths. He has a fever . I got out of the car and ran to his side . I put his arm around my shoulder to help him up and take him up to the bedroom in the house.

I lay him down then run down stairs to lock the gates before any creepers get in. I then lock all the windows and doors. I grabbed a towel and medication.i went back up stairs .i put the towel on his head and medication on the side . I clean his wounds and go take a shower.

After the shower I went to get dressed and cook something to eat. I made pizza for me and then made some soup for suga . I made my way up stairs with the soup and the pizza in my mouth. I put the soup down and woke him up .He tossed and turned then opened his eyes.

kay :" were am I ?"

Me :" your in my house, don't worry about your safety ."

kay :"ok thanks rose what happened?"

Me :" you passed out because of the fever ."

kay:"thanks again . Can I maybe have something to eat ."

Me :" yeah sure ."

I was going to give him the soup when I decided I was going to feed him

kay:" I'm not a baby, I don't need feeding ."

Me :''Well from now on I'm looking after you so deal with it."

He gave me a pout but then started to smile as he saw the food . I fed him the soup and gave him his medication. I told him to go to sleep and he did .
