CHAPTER 15 Three months later “Dude.” Willow’s voice from thousands of miles away in Alaska still sounded just as if she was standing behind Kennedy, staring over her shoulder. “What are you going to do?” Kennedy studied the notebook in her hand, surprised that it looked so normal. For what it contained, she would have expected something entirely different. Something of this magnitude shouldn’t feel like plain paper, should it? “And that’s all she said?” Willow asked. “She just said you should read it and left it at that?” Kennedy didn’t have time for this.
