-Archer-
I gave her a choice. Now I was going to go through with my plan. After leaving her office, I simply waited. Normally, I wasn’t this patient, but when it came to Harper, I suddenly had all the patience in the world. Most of the day I stood by my car, smoking a cigarette, waiting for her to finish her shift and come outside. I barely even noticed the time. My entire body and my wolf were excited about what was about to happen.
Slowly the sun started to set, and when it finally did, I saw the most beautiful sight come through the automatic doors, roaming through her purse, trying to find her car keys. She wasn’t looking where she was going, and she definitely hadn’t noticed me, as she walked towards her car, which wasn’t parked that far away from me.
I followed behind her and waited until she had finally found her keys and unlocked the vehicle. Then, the second she opened the car door, I moved fast and placed my hand on it, closing it again.
“Hey!” she exclaimed, turning around, ready to give the person who dared doing something like this a piece of her mind. But when she saw it was me, she turned quiet.
“No more running,” I told her.
She looked at me, confused, and then I reached to the other side and opened the door to the backseat.
“Get in,” I instructed her. Her reaction surprised me a little when she let out a small laugh.
“I am not doing that again,” she said.
I looked at her, confused, for a moment, and then realized how this looked.
“Not this time,” I clarified.
“I don’t understand,” she said. “You left.”
“Now I am back.”
“Archer—"
“You got about five seconds to get in the car,” I interrupted, my voice leaving no room for discussion. But the little wolf wasn’t listening to me.
“Five.”
She didn’t move.
“Four.”
She just crossed her arms over her chest.
“Three.”
She raised an eyebrow, daring me to do something.
“Two!”
She still didn’t move.
“One.”
I closed the door, the sound so loud, before I dug into my back pocket, taking out a small needle filled just enough sedative to make her sleep for an hour or two.
“Your choice, little one,” I declared.
Then I surprised her as I grabbed her, turned her around, and as gently as I could, inserted the needle into the side of her neck, feeling her slowly go limp in my arms.
“Shh,” I whispered as she drifted to sleep.
I glanced around the lonely parking lot before putting Harper into the backseat and then taking her keys and getting into the driver’s seat before driving away.

As we arrived at the small house hidden in the forest, I parked the car and unlocked the front door before going back to pick up Harper and carry her inside. I took her to the bedroom, where I carefully laid her down, and then took a moment to look at my sleeping mate.
Mmm, so beautiful.
She really was, and she was all mine. I began to fasten the chains around her wrists. They wouldn’t hurt her, since only the chains were made of iron, and the cuffs themselves were made of leather. I put a collar around her neck before taking a step back and admiring my work. She was still sleeping, her head tilted a little to the side, but I knew the second she woke up, I would see nothing but fire.
I crouched down in front of her and then reached out again, stroking two fingers down her cheek. Just the feeling of her was enough to get me hard. Now that I had found my mate, it was impossible for me to get it up for anyone else, but I was always hard around her. I couldn’t not be. I wanted her with a burning passion that had driven me insane over the last month.
I did, though, feel a little bad that it had to come to this between Harper and me. I had really hoped something would have changed in her, but she was as stubborn as ever, and she had forced my hand. Now we were going to do this a lot differently because I knew if I didn’t tie her down and make her spend time with me, she would take every opportunity she could to flee.
I stood up again, knowing I had to go back and get my own car, but it was so hard to leave, as I had her there in front of me. I knew she couldn’t go anywhere, and it was probably what finally made me able to convince myself to walk away.
I locked the doors, turned on the security system, and the cameras that would show me if she woke up while I was gone.
And she did.
When I had finally gotten back to the hospital, calling a cab to get me there, and was in my car, I pulled out my phone to see if she had woken up yet. I caught her slowly rising, looking around before she started to yell and scream. I couldn’t hear anything, but it wasn’t hard to tell. She yanked on her chains and did everything she could to get loose, but they didn’t budge at all. It was futile. I knew that, and it brought a smile to my lips.
I put my phone away before starting the car and then drove to her apartment to gather some of her belongings. I made sure Ryan wasn’t around as I sneaked inside. Luckily, I had her keys now, so I didn’t have to break in. I quickly packed a bag with everything I believed she needed before leaving the place again and locking the door. Then I returned to my car.
