Anaya's POV
“Billie….” I whispered. My eyes opened and it was darkness everywhere except a small lamp that was lit at one corner of the room.
Why is everywhere so dark? I thought I had slept for maybe a week. “Billie!” My voice got a little louder. It suddenly cracked and I felt thirsty.
“Princess!” I heard her gasping. She was probably trying to get some sleep too. I struggled to sit up while touching the side of my stomach gently. God, the pain has become bearable.
Billie put on the light and rushed to me. “How are you feeling now?” She asked, roaming her eyes all over my body, especially at my stomach.
“I am feeling a little bit better,” I said while I placed one of the pillows at my back.
