Chapter Fifty-Seven

1318 Words

Paxton's POV “Hailey….” I muttered as I struggled in my sleep. I rolled to the right side and to the left side, grunting and pulling at what was invisible. I thrashed on the bed as if I was fighting for my life. “Hailey!” The bed bounced at the impact of me jumping off it. Beads of sweat covered my entire body. “What the hell….” I mumbled, assuring myself that everything was okay, but nothing was okay. Deep down, I knew nothing was okay. A yearning at the other side of the wall that I had been trying so hard to reach onto. This was the dream I have been having frequently since the beginning of the last two months.
