Chap-6

Okay. Its awkward

I thought to myself as i sat silently looking ahead of me. While others were talking and joking and Seo-joon was busing taking photos through the window. I was bored out of my mind and didn't even bring any novel to read.

I slightly moved out of my seat and slapped Bong Cha arm as she sat croos from me. She glared at me and then looked at my sunken expression. She really was a mind reader, she looked around and then at Seo-joon and nodded her head.

I silently sat back in the seat waiting to see what's she was going to do.

"Listen everybody!." Bong Cha said as she clapped her hands together to gather attention of everybody.

The bus got silent within a second. I threw an impressive look at her to which she smirked.

"Let's play a game. In this way we all will be able to enjoy this trip!." She said enthusiastically and her dyed hair swayed from left to right as she moved her head.

Everybody nodded. Everybody started to speak what game they want to play.

"What about Charades?." I said loudly while looking at Nam-joo.

"Yes!." He said cheerily to me.

He asked everybody about it and all the members and us agreed on playing. Luca declined the offer as he was busy with some work.

Charades is a game in which you have to "act out" a phrase without speaking, while the other members of your team try to guess what the phrase is. The objective is for your team to guess the phrase as quickly as possible.

Baek kyung divided the teams in the order of our seating arrangement.

Me, Seo-joon, Joo-ho, Tae-hhon and Nicole were in one team.

Nam-joo, Baek kyung, Tae-ri and Bong Cha in another.

First was Joo-ho from our team after we did gawi bawi bo. I was second then Seo-joon then Nicole and in the last Tae-hoon. But there was a bit change of plan. Our team would go first but both team members will guess it.

Joo-ho made his famous nervous sound. I chuckled at him finding him cute.

Baek kyung whispered into Joo-ho's ear and he made a thinking face with his fingers on his chin.

He then started moving in circles with both of his hands in the air with a broad smiley face. Then he put his hands in front of him like some power is coming out of it. I rose my eyebrow at him. Other's started laughing.

"Spider man!." Baek kyung and i shouted. We looked at each other and chuckled.

"Swan lake!." Nam-joo spoke

Joo-ho then made a Shh sound with his hands in front of him.

I started laughing at him. He was so cute. He really is a sunshine.

"Frozen!." It was Ho-yong who guessed it right.

It was my turn, i walked to the place where Joo-ho previously stood.facing them. Tae-ri came towards me with a toothy smile.

He got down to my height and whispered. But he was not standing close enough so we all heard it.

"Whisper into her ear!." Baek kyung said with a chuckle.

Tae-ri was being shy. I smiled at him and got a bit closer to him.

"Lonely" he whispered lightly and quickly left with a cute shy smile playing on his face.

I nodded my head.

I brought my arms to my chest and put up a sad face and moved left to right slightly.

"Love." It was Seo-joon who said that.

I shoke my head.

I started sniffing.

"Crying" Seo-joon spoke

"Give up." It was Nam-joo and i showed my expressionless face and all started to laugh.

"Emotional" Bong Cha said looking hopeful,

I shoke my head and sighing she took back her seat.

"I know! I know! Lonely!." Tae-hoon shouted while standing up.

I nodded my head and clapped my hands.

As i was about to sit in the seat, when Seo-joon stood up. I moved back to let him move out as the space was not enough. I was trying to make space for him to move past me, i accidentally stepped on his foot.

"Oh sorry!." I immediately withdraw my foot and said to him.

"Its okay." He said softly. I looked up at him to find looking at me intensely.

My heart failed to beat at the intensity of his stare. He blinked and then moved to stand behind me. I gulped and quickly took a seat.

What are you doing to me Seo-joon!

Bong Cha walked towards him and whispered in his ears. He licked his lips and pulled his sleeves up his elbows. A usual habit of his, which i noticed.

He pulled his wrist forward and with the other hand he did the cutting action on his wrist.

"Knife" Tae-hoon said

"Blood" I said, while hitting the front seat with excitement.

He smiled broadly and nodded his head. Everybody started clapping and hooting and i did a dramatic hair flip and gave them know-it-all look to which they all chuckled.

Then i chuckled at myself.

After settling in, the game continued until we all were done. Nobody was up for the second round so we ended it. I was feeling hungry and looked around to find members searching their bags.

Jin called out to Luca for food. Beside me Seo-joon opened his bag and pull out a bag of chips, then looked up at me.

"Take it." He said as he passed me the bag of chips.

"Its okay." I declined politely.

He frowned and looked down at the chips.

"Don't you like these chips?." He asked with a confused look

"No no. It's not that. Its just- what will you eat then?." I said to him.

He blinked and gave a kind smile.

"I am not hungry." He said while running a hand through his hair.

I narrowed my eyes.

Okay if he is being this way then i will have my way.

"Okay. Thank you." I said and opened the bag of chips.

I put two chips into my mouth and chewed slowly.

"Its tasty you know." I said looking at him. While putting some more into my mouth.

He was sitting silently looking at me. Then he chuckled at me.

"What?." I asked and quickly put a hand on my mouth after realizing I spoke up with food in my mouth.

I hope he didn't saw it.

He shoke his head and turned to face back and called Tae-ri.

They started talking about something and i stopped eating. I wasn't going to eat alone as i felt bad for doing so. I waited for him to finish his talk and then we both will eat.

I know he wasn't my friend or anything. But it was bad not to offer him food when he is the one who gave me food at the first place. Nam-joo and I started talking about a new novel and discussed it.

"Why didn't you eat it?." Seo-joon's voice made me look at him away from my phone.

"Um. I was waiting for you, so i could offer you. I wasn't going to eat alone." I explained to him.

He looked surprised and then nodded his head.

I placed the bag of chips in between us and we both started to eat.

He was such a wonderful person. He was hungry but offered me to eat.

My heart warmed with the thought. I was busy talking with Nam-joo when i suddenly grabbed a finger within a bag of chips. I quickly looked back at Seo-joon and it was like he was a deer caught in headlights.

"Sorry." I said and released his finger and pulled out my hand.

Pulling a tissue out of my jacket pocket i cleaned my fingers off chips crumbs, while i was trying to calm my racing heart. It was my first time touching him. Skin to skin. Although it was just a minor touch but i don't know how to put into words. The way his hand felt against mine, like it was meant to be there with mine.

He silently ate the rest and there i was, trying to not to think too much.

The ride to the picnic point was 3 hours and the time passed so quickly that i didn't even realized. TSeo-joon and i even talked a bit, he asked me about my career and i asked him about his future goals.

It was a small nice chit chat. I liked it. It made me understand him better.

The staff moved out of the bus, i stood up and exited the bus. I stretched to relax my cramped legs.

"Cramped legs right?." Nicole asked as she joined me in stretching.

I nodded my head and then stood up straight, straightening my shirt and fixing my hair.

"Come on, Lets get it!." Tae-ri said with swag, putting up a black hat with black glasses and doing some funny hand signs.

We all chuckled at his cuteness. Baek kyung got hold of Seo-joon and started running towards the lake. The picnic site was a shady spaced forest with a clear crystal lake. The grass looked unnatural, so green like it just sprout right now, so refreshing. I closed my eyes and took in a deep breath. My lungs felt alive as fresh air got into my lungs. I felt happy and in my comfort zone. I love forest and flowers. I stayed like this for a few minutes when i felt i have taken my dose of this fresh air and now need to see lake. I looked around to find some staff putting up a camp, some making a fire area by putting pieces of wood on ground, Sirius members were by the lake, putting their hands in the water and splashing water on their faces.

I walked towards Luca who was helping set up a camp.

"Hey. Let me help." I said as i grabbed the side he was holding on.

"Its okay, Eun Ae. We can do it." He said as he shoke his head pointing at me to leave it.

"Please let me." I said and picking the stuff up.

"Hey. Leave it. We guys will do this." Joo-ho said as he saw me struggling with putting up a camp.

I was about to argue when Seo-joon appeared and grabbed the material from my hands.

"If you want to help, then help Ho-yong and Tae-hoon in cooking. We will take care of this. You might get hurt." He said sternly.

He might have seen me arguing with Luca. In front of him i lost all the power to argue.

I sighed and nodded my head.

I walked towards Ho-yong who was setting up things on the wooden table.

"Hello. Need any help?." I said to him as i approached him.

"Oh. No no. Its fine." He said with a shake of his head without looking at me.

Stubborn.

I remained standing beside him and looked what he was doing. Bong Cha and Nicole helped Tae-hoon in lighting up a fire for cooking.

Ho-yong put the wooden vegetable cutter on the table.

"Please let me." I said politely and grabbed knife from his hands.

He sighed and nodded his head.

"Be careful." He whispered so lightly that i almost didn't hear. But due to my high hearing capacity i heard it.

I smiled and pulled my sleeves up to my elbows. I like cooking but often. I pick up the onion from the basket and started peeling it. While Ho oppa started marinating chicken breast and legs. We both worked together silently and it wasn't awkward at all. It was peaceful. We both were comfortable working together.

I sniffed as onions started to sting my eyes. I cleaned the fallen tear with the sleeve of my shirt.

"Are you okay?." Ho oppa concerned voice reached my ears.

I chuckled and put the knife down and faced him. He was looking down at my hands, searching for any injury.

"I am fine. My eyes sting while cutting onion." I told him as few more tears make their way down.

"Leave them. I will do the rest." He said and he passed me a tissue.

"No no. I am done. Don't worry. It will go away in a few minutes." I said and gave him a smile.

He pursed his lips and nodded. I Ho-yong oppa heard didn't express his feelings but he is really caring. And today he showed it and he truly was a nice person with caring and kind personality.

Finishing things with Ho oppa, i came to sit on the chairs that they all set around the fire. I sat beside Joo-ho and offered him nuts. He beamed at me , took a few and thanked me.

Tae hoon oppa, Ho-yong oppa, Tae-ri and Bong Cha were busy making food for everyone. Bong Cha knew alot of things related to cooking as she loves cooking.

Cooking was her hobby and make-up a passion.

Well, my hobby is reading and passion is being a doctor.

I couldn't see Seo-joon, Baek kyung and Nam-joo anywhere around, I frowned.

Where have they gone?.

As these thoughts appeared into my kind, the three of them appeared into my sight. It was like prayer came true.

"Joo-ho look at the picture i took!." Seo-joon announced as he reached us.

He wore a warm smile and was totally relaxed. Joo-ho took the phone from his hands and looked at pictures. I didn't wanted to but i saw one or two pictures then i looked away.

One was a picture of Baek kyung and the scenery behind. Second was a picture of scenery- lake and large green trees.

I looked down my hands and then suddenly smelled them. I made an ew face as strong scent of onion hit my nose.

Damn. I watched my hands thrice even then the smell didn't go away.

I cursed those onions and crossed my arms over my chest.

"Hey." Seo-joon's voice pulled me out of my anger towards my ugly-smelly- nails.

I looked up at him, he took the seat to my right.

"Hi." I said and gave him a small smile.

"I am sorry, if i hurt you by saying those things." He said softly. He never looked up at me as he played with his hands. He was shy.

Too shy for my liking.

"No no. You didn't. You were right, i could have hurt myself, as i have never set up a camp myself " I sat up straight at his confession and assured him.

He nodded his head and gave me a small smile.

"But i always wanted to learn how to set it up." I said with a sullen expression.

"Learn what?." It was Baek kyung who came and sat next to Seo-joon.

"Setting up a camp." I said and i stretched my legs in front of me and putting hands into my jacket pocket.

"Oh. Don't worry. We will teach you how to set it up." He said with a serious look

"Really?." I immediately sat straight and smiled excitingly.

Baek kyung and Seo-joon chuckled at my outburst.

"Yes yes. Won't we Seo-joon?." He said as he elbowing Seo-joon, who nodded his head while looking at me.

"Thank you!." I said and sat back into my chair.

I closed my eyes and warmth from the fire made me sleepy. I felt so much relaxed after a long time, a smile made it's way on my lips as i thought of it.

It's been so long, i have enjoyed like this.
